Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 34
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 34. Back to some semblance of normality, although even then we have a double game-week of sorts to contend with this week.
Once again we begin on Friday night, this time with a bubbling Leicester hosting a bumbling Newcastle.
Saturday sees six games in total. Spurs welcome Huddersfield in the early one before Brighton and Cardiff play the first of their ‘DGW’ games with Bournemouth visiting the former and Burnley hosting the latter. Relegated Fulham then welcome Everton and the Saints play a crest fallen Wolves. The late one on Saturday sees West Ham taking a trip to Old Trafford to play Man United.
The title race resumes on Sunday with Man City going first again as they visit Palace before Liverpool play catch up at home to Chelsea.
Watford and Arsenal are our Monday night entertainment before the DGW giants of Brighton and Cardiff clash on Tuesday evening.
The games in full…

So the #1 guy in the world played his wildcard and put Fraser and Wilson in there.
He obviously knows better.
I didn’t even have a look at Bournemouth… and now I realise their next 3 fixtures.
Still I’m amazed.
I had Wilson in a few early drafts based purely on that Fulham fixture (and I’ve owned him pretty much all season) the lure of the doubles was too much and Bournemouth have looked dire so fair play to him for having the guts to go with it!
We all probably stare too much on those doubles.
What’s best? A difficult double gw or an easy single?
Usually an easy single but we’ll never learn! Haha
Nobody could foresee a 0-5 there, Bournemouth were out of form and Brighton desperately needed a win. The H&L predictions say a lot about what we all expected from that game and from the few I just looked at Bournemouth were lucky if they got a goal in a narrow defeat.
I have Fraser and put him on the bench. I prefer Jimenez & Westwood to complete my starting eleven.
Back on DGW33. I sold Pogba & choose Fraser as replacement.
Genius.
Trying out my new Grav
Handsome fella!
I like it!
You look like a stone frog
Palace v Man City
Me on Mendy earlier…
This will haunt me…
I kind of wish I went with it but Laporte is prob more sensible though a bit bored
Hey people – if you’re bothered, you can check out the link to my team to see why I was a bit disappointed to see both Sterlo AND Kun front up for City! I’ve got 21 points riding on my first reserve (see previous comments on Murphy’s Law etc. – round about comment number 97 I think) and NO Peptation. What a silly bunt! (Quote from the Pythons!). Anyway, going to crawl back into my hole! Probably do something completely crazy, like get some work done! I’m really sorry everyone, this probably cements the fact that Sterlo & Aguero (AND Mané!) will be scoring 5 or less this afternoon! AJW’s Mourinho-like management skills strike again!!!
That’s bad news AJW but that’s FPL in a nutshell.
Need to take it with the obvious good humour you have mate.
Thanks GP – cover your wagons (as John Wayne mighta said!)! Looks like Sterlo is just going to tease me by scoring okay, but not as well as Moura! Yeah – don’t worry about it – chin up and take it like a man (it IS only a game after all!).
Sterling’s just missed an absolute sitter…
And just scored
Of course he did. I sold him….
What a through ball; what a timely run. All was quickly forgotten!
