Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 34

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 34. Back to some semblance of normality, although even then we have a double game-week of sorts to contend with this week.

Once again we begin on Friday night, this time with a bubbling Leicester hosting a bumbling Newcastle.

Saturday sees six games in total. Spurs welcome Huddersfield in the early one before Brighton and Cardiff play the first of their ‘DGW’ games with Bournemouth visiting the former and Burnley hosting the latter. Relegated Fulham then welcome Everton and the Saints play a crest fallen Wolves. The late one on Saturday sees West Ham taking a trip to Old Trafford to play Man United.

The title race resumes on Sunday with Man City going first again as they visit Palace before Liverpool play catch up at home to Chelsea.

Watford and Arsenal are our Monday night entertainment before the DGW giants of Brighton and Cardiff clash on Tuesday evening.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

  1. Damn I think I got mixed up between Duffy and dunk. Which is the “better” ond

    • Duffy does better. LOLZ. I got both.

      • Lol I have Duffy. A bit annoyed I meant to do a late change and lay Doherty instead of TAA but forgot

        • I’ve played Doherty over TAA. Unsure if it’s smart since the onje is playing at home for a better team. We’ll see. Doherty when he wants can score. Lol remember him almost getting a hatty in a cup game earlier this season.

  2. Chip and Capo stats.

    • 22.7% Duffy captain. I don’t think we’ll ever see that again! smile

      • I really hope it works out for the people – the many people – who went with it. Captaining Duffy will be something they’ll be able to tell their grandchildren about – many times.

And if it does work out, many will do the same next week.

Duffy may end up with a star on the Hollywood walk of fame.

        • I sincerely hope they do it next week too!

        • He’ll probably do even better next week than this.

This is going to be the double DGW that propels Duffy to a 450k weekly salary.

      • I captained the duffmister along with 22.7% of the top 20k.

    • I’m in the 0.9% with my BB in 34 lol…

    • What a difference in the two sides Capt picks! Son and Aguero being the only choices in common.
Surprised no Jimenez anywhere in top 5.

  3. My ML leader took a 4point hit this week and brought in Kane. The risks of making early transfers! Will see if I can reduce the 60pt gap this Gameweek.

    • He’s got BB and TC left but only has 2 DGW players next week. You have a massive advantage here Seren. That gap could be gone by GW36.

      • Here’s hoping. I had not registered his lack of DGW’er players next week. He was 120pts ahead of me at one time – goes to show. Of course all the advice I get on here gives me an edge.

  4. Starting next week on 58 pts. I love this game!

    • For a horrible moment I thought that was a RMT.

Yes, nice to have those points pretty much in the bag before things happen.

I suppose a few European and league injuries this week may bring that starting score down a bit, but hopefully not.

      • Details! On paper those points are in the bag and that’s all we need to know. I hadn’t considered the captain points mind, so still have that buffer to accommodate any and all casualties.

  5. Did some last minute tinkering on my wilcard: out went Vardy Ward-Prose Erikson, in came Deeney Sterling Moura. I may regret Moura, but ok so far.

    • I was so confident in Vardy I nearly did some last minute tinkering myself and made him the captain.

But caution prevailed and his modest 2 points may see a modest green arrow for me.

Sounds like he came very close, but no cigar this week.

      • Missed a sitter near the end.

        • That would have been nice.

Oh well, have to take it on the chin and move briskly on. A lot of interesting stuff tomorrow.
