Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 34

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 34. Back to some semblance of normality, although even then we have a double game-week of sorts to contend with this week.

Once again we begin on Friday night, this time with a bubbling Leicester hosting a bumbling Newcastle.

Saturday sees six games in total. Spurs welcome Huddersfield in the early one before Brighton and Cardiff play the first of their ‘DGW’ games with Bournemouth visiting the former and Burnley hosting the latter. Relegated Fulham then welcome Everton and the Saints play a crest fallen Wolves. The late one on Saturday sees West Ham taking a trip to Old Trafford to play Man United.

The title race resumes on Sunday with Man City going first again as they visit Palace before Liverpool play catch up at home to Chelsea.

Watford and Arsenal are our Monday night entertainment before the DGW giants of Brighton and Cardiff clash on Tuesday evening.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

  1. Sorry to everyone who kept Vardy…. toon toon!!!!

    • Relieved I got rid. Now over to his replacement Llorente….

      • Yeah. Come on Llorente. Our dark horse.
Suddenly I’ve come to realise that my team is full of these creatures though. Ozil/Auba/Duffy(c) and Llorente. Can bite back badly

      • Ah, I’m pleased you took the plunge. Last time I looked there were 5 possible sides or something like that.

    • No worries at all. We all know the risks.

Great result for Newcastle, pretty much sees you safe.

      • Thanks Kralin, fingers crossed but yeah relegation staved off for another year.. Mike will be pleased …

    • As predicted…!

  2. Glad that Newcastle have won. Congratulations Rosco and Milburn (Wherever you are)..

  3. Yes congrats there Rosco! Late season joys! I took advantage of Vardy last week and curiously omitted him from my WC team. Only time will tell if my radical uprooting and reshaping will pay! Probably not – I feel one may be wiping egg off ones face very soon! Savour your victory!

  4. Averages. For the little it’s worth but rituals are rituals….

    • Rituals are what societies are based on

      • Yet are arbitrary things, tied to our bourgeois way of life..

        • Yeah, societies are highly arbitrary, whatever human culture has constructed…

      • I’m convinced I have mild OCD, although I take that as an advantage when it comes to a website like this that has to run like clockwork and has so many minor details attached which all need to be just so in order for it to function.

        • The truth of course is that you’re the only person on the site and we’re all figments of your imagination.

        • Who said that? smile

        • I have a Fulltone OCD guitar pedal, the best pedal I ever had, works like a charm, with the cleanest of distortion… No doubt a very useful thing to have smile

        • You (and me) are the normal ones init, the rest are bloody weirdos.

        • Takes one to know one.

  5. I think I’m going to sell Duffy (who’s still my captain no worries!!!) to Valery right now, enables Eriksen –> Mane for GW36 and what seems like a Mane TC… I’d have zilch in the bank so can’t afford any price rises, hence need to make it right about now :woot:

    • Steady on, ZL.

Can’t you hang on for the (inevitable, and in some curious way quite satisfying) pile of injuries that are no doubt going to throw our plans into utter disarray? I’ve got a feeling Vardy is going to be the only player I have who isn’t going to get injured.

    • I’m not convinced it needs to be right now! Any of those involved threatening in any way to move in price?

      • Valery could rise soon, although yeah you’re right there’s a chance he won’t, if he doesn’t rise tonight I think he won’t rise at all…

  6. Bench looking good!

    • Tough to pick the captain though…

      • Jiménez will be a popular choice, I would have thought. Kun of course. Son again, maybe.

Blimey, Duffy by many this week, Jiménez possibly next. What is the world coming to.

        • Aguero would be the obvious pick but for two reasons:

          1) Bad fixtures
          2) Will he get rotated?

I’m sure he won’t be the highest scoring player of the gameweek…

    • Foster to lloris then you are g2g.

    • What do you mean, that’s only 6 points from 3…
