Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 35

We have no less than 14 games to contend with this week which means that 8 teams have a double. If this is news to you at this stage then you’re waaaaaaay behind the curve. Man City go first again as they host Spurs in what is one of their two perceived ‘tough’ games and it’s fair to say it could be a title decider, in theory. We then have 4 games at 3pm; Jekyll and Hyde Bournemouth host a similarly unpredictable Fulham, Huddersfield bend over for Watford, West Ham and Leicester argue over which one could now care less and Wolves will be fearful of the Irish Ronaldo aka Duffy as Brighton visit the Midlands. Newcastle celebrate being ‘safe’ in the late game against Southampton who are hoping to have a similar party of their own anytime soon.

There are 3 games on Sunday but oddly 2 of them clash at 4pm. Everton and Man United is the early outlier before Arsenal enjoy home comforts against Palace and then finally Liverpool get their chance to respond to whatever City did by hammering Cardiff.

Monday completes the set of 10 ‘normal’ games with Chelsea hosting Burnley and many a fantasy manager will be hiding behind the settee having sold Hazard for someone far less expensive just because they have two games in a week.

Speaking of which… the ‘doubles’ begin on Tuesday with Spurs v Brighton and Watford v Southampton followed on Wednesday by Wolves hosting Arsenal, before Man City’s second ‘title decider’ in one week (unless they already stuffed the first one up!) as they visit Man United.

      • I dont have Mane (yet). I have Salah, Robertson and Firmino, but can get Mane if need be, but ditching Robertson…lol

        • Init, next weeks transfer(s) depends on who does better tomorrow against Cardiff. That person will no doubt get the tc next week against Huddersfield.

        • I’m debating who i want the most till the end of the season Sterling or Salah..Beyond the Hudds game i fear not owning Sterling more than Salah.

        • Well, to get Mane means ditching Robertson and Son.
          I then, for GW37, ditch Aguero and Mane/Salah for Pogba and Rashford – they have Huddersfield, then Cardiff. Only concern is, by then, everyone will be on the plane….lol

        • Me too, Brooky, but it won’t stop me from bringing Salah in for that TC opportunity.

          I could actually buy Salah whilst holding onto Sterling, but Mané seems crucial too, so sacrifices will have to be made somewhere.

        • Yep true that Innit.Would seem weird transfering him straight back out again.But actually think thats what i’ll do.Just got to work out which one to captain now ! Tomorrows game will probably be the decider.

        • A lot will depend on what happens tomorrow, I’d imagine. If Mane scores a couple then he’ll probably edge it. Firmino may confuse matters more. I do wonder if Warnock is mad enough to send Cardiff out in attack mode.

        • There’s a fair to middling possibility he could do so without even realising he has. Let’s hope so.

        • I have Robertson and Firmino also. Would involve a -4 and removing Robertson to get Salah For Eriksen

        • I wouldn’t bother then Wafflez. Just take your clean sheet and hope Salah doesn’t go nuts on them. And that Mane does instead!

  6. 57pts so far. Gutted with that late Huddersfield goal. Could of been so much better.

    • Im on 37. Did lose 8 with the Huddersfield goal. Got 4 to play, but the 2nd round of doubles, plus my BB, and hoping Valery plays the 2nd game.
      Not impressed with my week so far.

    • 43 here. Same with Watford. Had double defence.
