The long game

You may have noticed that there are a lot of games this week. If you haven’t and this is the first you know of it then you may be in a bit of trouble here. There are 15 in total, spanning 7 days in total, with at least a game on each day. 8 teams play twice and 1 other (Man Utd, aka Bruno) play thrice.

We shan’t bore you with our usual pithy comments about each one, as 15 of those would probably be pushing the envelope a bit. Other than to say that come the end of it Champions will most likely have been crowned, some CL places will have been sorted and at least 1 more team will probably have been relegated.

And of course, as is fitting with this season; GW35 ends on Thursday at about 10.30pm and GW36 begins about 20 hours later on the Friday. The line-ups will be interesting then, if nothing else!

    • By the way, I don’t think the game is fully ready yet.
      Did the auto pick which gave me 15 players, after pressing next it shows only the pitch with 11 players and no bench. Can’t see a button for create/join league wacko

      • Nope, I can’t either. Although I have seen people sharing league codes on twitter.

        There’s an app too but that doesn’t even have a menu option for the fantasy game yet.

        • From where? The games tab and the FF advert both direct me to my CL Games App and only show my CL team / game.

        • Init, got it.
          After you have selected the team need to pick a captain.
          After all that, press save and it takes you to a page with options create/join leagues.

        • Nope, every link now just takes me to the CL App!

        • Try on you laptop. I’ve done mine on a desktop as trying to do some work amongst everything else.

        • Do you want me to create a league and email you the code?

        • May as well if you can please Ivan, just call it FF247 Euro 2020 Regs. Only thing then is that you’ll have to admin it a bit to ensure it is just our lot entering, pretty much as I do with the CL one.

          Although give me 20 and I’ll jump on desktop and try it that way.

      • Joined up , never played the CL one so need to do a bit of studying

        • Pretty simple once you grasp the subs / capos bit; basically you can change them between match days, and it is somewhat better and more interesting as a game than FPL. Albeit you have to be active and interactive with it to succeed.

          Please feel free to kick me from the league, but I hope you don’t, I love playing fantasy football and I’ve been a member on your site for a while it’s my “go to” site for tips. I’m not all that good at it that’s why I don’t post things as it would mess you all up. With the premier league finishing I need a fantasy league fix and I can’t think of a better place to be.

        • Hi Wales, that’s a fair shout, we do appreciate that some people want to take part but don’t necessarily comment regularly or indeed want to.

          But the main thing is that you have stuck your head above the proverbial parapet to say so, that I don’t mind, as long as we know who people are that’s great.

          Just pop your Euros team name on here so that Ivan knows not to cull you and you’ll be fine.
