Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 35
The long game
You may have noticed that there are a lot of games this week. If you haven’t and this is the first you know of it then you may be in a bit of trouble here. There are 15 in total, spanning 7 days in total, with at least a game on each day. 8 teams play twice and 1 other (Man Utd, aka Bruno) play thrice.
We shan’t bore you with our usual pithy comments about each one, as 15 of those would probably be pushing the envelope a bit. Other than to say that come the end of it Champions will most likely have been crowned, some CL places will have been sorted and at least 1 more team will probably have been relegated.
And of course, as is fitting with this season; GW35 ends on Thursday at about 10.30pm and GW36 begins about 20 hours later on the Friday. The line-ups will be interesting then, if nothing else!

Anyone else think that Ole put out his weakened team tonight as the best way to try and prevent Liverpool getting a champions league spot? Conceded they weren’t going to win the league and rather than beating Leicester and losing to Liverpool this was a better way to do it.

It did have Fergie’s fingerprints all over it but realistically he can’t go flogging his main players now when they have a final to attend to and little else to care about. Plus he did try to get them back in it with some aggressive subs late on.

Still feel they should all start vs Liverpool. Maybe with Greenwood on the bench. And Maguire depending on his injury Daniel James playing instead of Greenwood to give some width. Was my first thought when the lineups came out yesterday.

Maguire is out because of knee ligament damage, may be back for Europa league final.
Unlikely that all will start, most likely back to original team.

Yep like I said, depending on his injury. So I feel the rest should all start vs Liverpool

Got 1ft and 0,0 itb… Thinking nacho to Che Adams for gw36, not much to choose from with a 6,1 budget and Soton are facing Fulham. United also got Fulham in 37 so i want to keep those guys… Also, nacho got spurs and Chelsea left so i think it’s time to let go of him. Sounds like a plan?

Not that keen on Adams. Some other options you could consider:
Downgrade Martinez to free up funds, could then reach bamford or Antonio.
Get rid of a United asset. Europa final three days after last game so you’d think players will get rested. So someone like Bruno might only have 1-1.5 games (maximum) left. Could get someone else in with 3 games.

Adams is for gw 36 only. Wont take a hit for such a short term transfer…
