The long game

You may have noticed that there are a lot of games this week. If you haven’t and this is the first you know of it then you may be in a bit of trouble here. There are 15 in total, spanning 7 days in total, with at least a game on each day. 8 teams play twice and 1 other (Man Utd, aka Bruno) play thrice.

We shan’t bore you with our usual pithy comments about each one, as 15 of those would probably be pushing the envelope a bit. Other than to say that come the end of it Champions will most likely have been crowned, some CL places will have been sorted and at least 1 more team will probably have been relegated.

And of course, as is fitting with this season; GW35 ends on Thursday at about 10.30pm and GW36 begins about 20 hours later on the Friday. The line-ups will be interesting then, if nothing else!

  2. Only have 7 players. Would a 12 ph for these players be worth at. At the least I should get 6 pts back (O fo)r those who don’t play!) Are the chances not good that I would get back quite a few more?
    Godfrey, Dallas and Antonio.
    Using ft to bring in Son

    • I’m not sure hits for defenders are worth it, although Dsllas may be an exception. Could you just do a -8 for Dallas, Antonio and Son.

      • LRL…how many player you have for 36? Thinking a 12ph for my 6 player team. Will only lose 2 pts if no goal or no CS. (0pts for missing player)…bring in Antonio, Dallas and Godfrey. Surely has to get me more points than the 6 I will lose?

        • I have 8 players currently. I am thinking I may field just 10 and take a -4. Bring in Son and Bamford/Antonio.

          For you, I would not take more than a -8.

          8mil, but will use FT to swap Bruno for son, so lots of cash. Greenwood won’t be rested for the next game I would think.

    • Dallas, Raph and Antonio. Or Bamford if you’re happy doubling up in attack.

      • Or 2 of the choices plus fodder if budget doesn’t stretch that far.

      • Cheers Lee boy. I was Thinking triple Leeds but then I’d have the selection headache plus Dallas looks like he might be getting moved back from midfield so loses a lot of appeal

        • As you;ve gone double Man City midfield, you need some bench cover. Think you’d be safe with one fodder player and two starters on the bench. Helps the benching headache a little.
