Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 35

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 35. It’s very much after the Lord Mayor’s Show this week as we go from 14 fixtures over six successive days to just six matches this week due to the FA Cup semi-finals. It’s Liverpool who kick us off as they attempt to move closer to Man Utd when they travel to United’s conquerors West Brom at lunchtime. There is just one other game on Saturday as Crystal Palace take the shortish trip to Watford.

Sunday sees three matches – West Ham go to Arsenal at the same time as Stoke host Burnley before Swansea get the chance to spoil Man City’s party at the Etihad.

Our game-week finishes on Monday as Newcastle fans get the chance to reacquaint themselves with their hero ex-chief Big Sam as they visit Everton.

  1. Draft DGW37 squad. no wildcard but will have to take a few hits to get this squad. what you guys think? any other player suggestions to consider?

    • A “few” hits?? Sure thing. smile

    • Is this with a view to using BB in 37 eresh?

Cookie is the Gundogan expert but I think I’m right in saying he’s only safe until Fernandinho is back which is next week I believe.

      • i drafted up a few squads for gw37 innit. As I am wildcardless, not sure how many transfers i should go with as a minimum. i am thinking 6 or 7 across the 2 GW. what would u advise on the max number of transfers?

        • It’s a BB yeah?

        • BB in GW37 Innit. my current squad u can check out if u can in GW34.

        • Come on eresh, help me out! I can see it but I’m not cross referencing it as well so tell me this – how many of them have a DGW37 as we stand now?

        • hey innit.apologies. as things stand, 9DGW players.

this is the potential squad i have in mind which brings to 12DGW players. 7 transfers across the 2GW.

        • 7 transfers to gain 3 DGW’ers?

        • hey innit.i am also transferring out existing DGW who has been disappointing in the past few weeks.

The 7 transfers on in mind:
          Lukaku to Vardy
          Barnes to Perez/Ayew
          Davies to Kompany
          hegazi to smalling
          bauer to vanderhorn
          willian to ssane
          mahrez to alli

Let me know if among these 7 i should consider not transferring out.

        • I’d keep Lukaku for starters. That’s one down smile

        • Barnes to Ayew makes sense.

        • Keep Davies this week and then assess.

        • Smalling yes, but not this week.

        • VDH is a yes.

        • The last 2 – ideally yeah, if on a WC, but for 2 hits? Probably not.

        • thanks for your analysis on it innit. i think lukaku disappointing in GW34 made me not want to go with him on the double again for DGW37. Right now i have 0 ITB so might be hard to get the ideal transfers in unless i offload some cash somewhere.

        • here is another reshuffle innit. 6 changes and 13 DGW players

      • good point cookie. He will probably start 1 game in the DGW

        • yes cookie, it makes sense. another thing to consider is the world cup coming up. possibly some players need more time for match sharpness and getting some minutes in before the end of season.

  2. 25(-8) with 7 to play. In top 100k after loonng. Hope Wally does the job on Monday.

  3. Oh dear I’m considering a hit tonight. Have the exact cash for Jesus and Sane in for Lukaku and Willian

    • hey smash.hope your well mate. is jesus and sane price going up tomorrow?

      • Sane looking like going up with Willian going down

        • Any though for Arnie? 36 is a hard game but a good dgw 37 for the fella

        • cheers smash. it is a risk. would have wanted to wait until tomorrow evening after the city game. @gavy – arnie is not a bad shout. i was thinking ramsey as long as he is fit.

  4. Is anyone on here willing to dump tackle butland down some stairs? 3 pb for the bench lad as well…

  5. How all we all doing best replacement for Alonso thinking Vert any others to consider???

    • what about moses or azpi silvers?

    • City defender ?

    • Cheers guys will Otemendi play every game thk Vert will ?

      • Doubt it very much. He will have to rotate Stones in just so that he’s had some game time prior to the World Cup. Well ok, he doesn’t have to but he probably will.

  6. All you out there on a WC. Is your preference a 3-4-3 with 3 big hitters up top or a 3-5-2 with a decent 5 mids ? Whichever way you are thinking whats the preferred strikers ?
