Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 35
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 35. It’s very much after the Lord Mayor’s Show this week as we go from 14 fixtures over six successive days to just six matches this week due to the FA Cup semi-finals. It’s Liverpool who kick us off as they attempt to move closer to Man Utd when they travel to United’s conquerors West Brom at lunchtime. There is just one other game on Saturday as Crystal Palace take the shortish trip to Watford.
Sunday sees three matches – West Ham go to Arsenal at the same time as Stoke host Burnley before Swansea get the chance to spoil Man City’s party at the Etihad.
Our game-week finishes on Monday as Newcastle fans get the chance to reacquaint themselves with their hero ex-chief Big Sam as they visit Everton.

Defence is too expensive. I’m not a fan of Tadic in there. I’d prefer Ayew over Perez as Swansea playing for something plus Perez prob has his goals now. I would have guessed Silva is most likely to get rotated out of City midfielders. Carrol is not nailed either
Thanks Smash. As mentioned by Initt earlier, Soton and Swans have a lot to play for. Relegation battle and all. If Austin seems nailed then I’d change Tadic to someone and Perez to Austin.. Cheers mate
as i said once before in this site, towards the tail end of the season relegation threatened teams play out of their skins and you can get some unexpected results/goals. you can take a punt on a southampton player constantine like tadic or cedric.
Drop Bertrand. 5.3M for a Southampton defender doesn’t make much sense currently.
I would check Ozil today and consider bringing him in for Silva or Alli I think.

Hey GP.. You think Southampton wont be able to have a CS against Swans and Everton? I also picked Bertrand due to his attacking skills and he’s on corners too i think. Ozil is a good shout and I’d consider him for Silva/ Alli for sure. Cheers mate

Yeah Fernandez is better. Yeah I’m getting stronger by the day now slowly. I’ll be back to normal now soon enough I expect

What about this for a WC team with bench boosting in 37? I could always switch Salah to a dgw player if there are likely more gains. Worried my midfield isn’t strong enough.
If you are BBing then I’d go all out DGWers. Team looks good overall but I would keep an eye on Bednarek. I don’t trust Chelsea as a defence anymore the rest looks good though

The candidates I’m thinking (without the WC) are: Kane, Jesus, PEA, Vardy, JAyew, Perez

Morning Matt. Those are the top candidates indeed. No love for lukaku in here and probably will be discarded by many. I am wildcardless and thinking about going with jesus, kane and ayew.

Yeah I have Lukaku, Vardy and Murray right now but I’m thinking of taking a -8 to do a clearout and bring in Jesus, Ayew and I’m trying to decide between PEA or Kane.
Vardy is a possible keep though and I might go with 3 big hitters only thing is it might be a weak midfield.

Probably 5-6 yeah but I haven’t really decided yet.

I like the Jesus and ayew moves.I’d leave Carrol in at least he has 2 games,a City mid is a must (for Mahrez ? ) leave Baeur in as he has a decent fixture.Pope to Mcarthy as he is cheap.Hegazi and Long need to go for a Swans defender and one other.If you do those moves how much does it leave for one other ?
cheers brook. that is helpful and makes sense. did the moves and will be -16 across the 2 GW’s (6 transfers). can do carroll to kenedy if you think its worth another hit. here is the revised squad with 13DGW, bauer and salah. I have 0.8ITB remaining after the moves.
