Small is beautiful
After 15 games in 7 days we have an 8 game, 3-day game-week, oh what joy, almost traditional, there’s even a game at 3pm on Saturday. On TV, of course. It’s worth remembering that Chelsea, Leicester, Man Utd and Arsenal all blank in GW36.
Our game-week begins on Friday evening as the newly crowned Champions go to Newcastle to celebrate with Rosco and friends.
Stuart Dallas; we shall all bench him no more this season, and all be hoping the curse of actually playing him doesn’t come back to haunt us as Leeds travel to Burnley for the lunchtime kick-off on Saturday. Our 3pm match sees Southampton host the relegated Fulham before the evening match sees West Ham take on Brighton at the Amex.
Sunday brings us the remaining four matches. Palace host Villa first up before Spurs host Wolves, Liverpool then travel to West Brom and somewhat ironically Sheffield United bring up the rear as they close the game-week with a trip to Goodison.

Can’t imagine how many hours I put in several GWs in advance to get a full team this week with minimum hit. And I end up with 8 players!
Who would you start Bamford or Watkins midweek?

Is Bruno v FUL so much better than Son v AVL? I would be inclined to roll with that team so you have 2FT to make a strong bench for the inevitable GW38 rotation

Your ML leader is going to be relying on his double Leeds defence so for GW38 perhaps Perreira WBA and triple CHE defence v AVL might give a scare

Yesterday Schalke (last boy) bt. Frankfurt 4-3. Today, West Brom almost pulled off a draw with Pool. Now SHU is on a CS win situation against Everton. Gw37 and 38 should have some usual unexpected outcome.
Yes indeed it’s just trying to predict which game will be the crazy 5-4 and making sure that you have a player in it, that and fielding 11 in GW38 can be unexpectedly tricky.
Everton what a let down. Pickford and Siggy combining for three points and I lost my bet.
The same story every year. Relegated teams are under presumption that they have nothing to play for and will let it free flow. They play for pride and fun, always ready to spoil the survival’s party. WBA almost did it to pool earlier. More to come of this in the last two games.

You always get some players from the relegated teams who want to stay in the prem so play incredibly to put themselves on the market.

Although, the market will be wide open this year with the upcoming Euro. The stockmarket will be bouncing by the end of July.
Pickford, Digne and DCL (C). Lost my ACCA as well. Lost any chance for 1st place in my ML. Lost any interest to finish the FPL season. Absolute shocker of a GW, and a season for that matter.

Who’s your Jota replacement if you’ve got him?
Raphina, Harrison or willock are decent picks I think
I have Jota and wonder is it worth dissembling my team to bring in one goal wonder Sarah or take it easy and look elsewhere
Since you don’t have any WHM cover, Lingard might be suitable and put Watkins first on bench to cover absentees.
Yep, just got rid of him but with the two remaining fixtures makes sense bringing him back. I am not stressed going without pool, apart from TAA
Raph I think. Can’t stretch to Greenwood so seems fairly simple considering I have no Leeds players

Could be worth a punt depending on your personal situation but feels a bit like chasing last week’s points and you don’t have certainty of starts.
I am leaning towards Harrison – 28 points in last 5 games is a good haul. Gets my vote as a Jota replacement.
Did think City player – but rotation worries me.
Mine will probably be Willock (cause I am thinking of Watkins to Rodrigo) but I simply have nothing to play for. Otherwise, Raphinha & Harrison are pretty good shouts. City punt if you are a daredevil.
Wish I was feeling daredevilish….seems I might go for Raph or engineer to bring in Greenwood
