Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 36

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Gameweek 36. Back to normality this week – 10 fixtures spread over three days, everyone plays just the once, no doubles, no blanks, probably a few wildcards.

It’s Liverpool who again kick off our game-week as they host relegation bound Stoke. It’s a must win for the Potters if they are to have any realistic chance of staying up….Crouchie time?

Five 3pm kick offs and it’s all about the relegation battle as Brighton go to Burnley, Palace host Leicester, Huddersfield welcome Everton, West Brom travel to Newcastle and Bournemouth can inflict further trouble on fellow south coasters Southampton.

The evening sees Swansea looking for a much needed three points as Chelsea come to town.
Sunday is Manc today. First up the Champions take the pleasurable trip to West Ham before Wenger gets a chance to say goodbye to Old Trafford.

We end on Monday as Spurs look to bounce back from recent Wembley disappointments as they host Watford.

  1. Three assists Sterling. BOOM!

    • Really need the 1st one to be taken off him….. was an og not his assist :/

      • Technically you are right but the way it works now means no OG

      • Can’t see why it would

    • 3 assists and yet he is on 2bps only (for now at least ) !!
      Hoping that would change !!

      • How is Jesus on 3bps with just 1 goal ? Don’t bother me i have him.

        • Now Sterling down to only 1bps!
          This is getting ridiculous :whatever:

p.. I have both…but this does not make any sense…

        • 3 assists = 27 BPS

          1 goal (as a striker) = 24 BPS

So they’re both pretty much even from that point. Not sure how Jesus would have gained the rest of his BPS but assume Sterling will have been penalised for offsides/being tackled.

It’s a system which needs looking at though, simple as.

        • Not to mention Jesus was subbed off/did not play the full 90mins !

  2. Bernardo Silva to start the Huddersfield game ahead of Sterling…please?? 😀

    • Or you could just bring him in

      • Well its a choice between him or Jesus.

Or I take an extra -4 and Salah -> Sterling. Im considering but i’m not sure.

        • If the guy could shoot it would be scary to see how many points Sterling would have had in last few games

        • Yeah if he added finishing to his game he would be incredible. Pep has worked wonders on his positional play and running, and decision making to some extent.

Good to see as an England supporter

      • laugh
        +1

  3. I might just stick the TC on sterling and go for it in 37!

  4. Guys are. People holding on to Silva and Salah. I’m thinking of bringing in hazard and Pogba for them, but I’m not sure. What do you guys think?

    • Silva will be back for when they lift trophy

    • I would sell Silva, don’t know about Salah. I planned to hold him as I don’t see Chelsea being watertight so it would be a pointless in and out transfer for me.

    • Pobga has been to hit and miss for me. I’d wait to see if arsenal get play mid week. If the get knocked out Rambo has better attacking returns if you ask me.

    • Thanks.guys. with Salah having only one game in 37 I’m not sure about keeping him.

      • Problem is you will want a plan to bring him back for Brighton at home

  5. Who is this guy Mavropanos?

    • Youngster signed in the summer. Was meant to be sent out on loan but Wenger liked what he saw in training so kept him. This is his first app in any comp i think.

    • Considering Hegazi got away with punching Ings in the stomach last week, I can’t see this going anywhere.

      He’ll be fine.

      • Yeah.
        Same here.
Think the FA won’t have the balls to do such a thing…not at this point of the season…and not to the best player…

The incident was not serious enough…imho…
He should get away with it…

        • There’d be such an uproar if it happened – he doesn’t even connect, and if he did, it wasn’t exactly a powerful throw! I’m not sure you can call this violent conduct given that Hezagi got nothing for his “punch” which did connect. Same thing really, not on, but not dangerous I guess.

That being said, as shown with the Kane ghost goal, the FA have shown that they really do want the English striker to win the golden boot. Officials at the Spurs – Liverpool game gave Kane 2 penalties that weren’t penalties that match too. Sadly, I wouldn’t be surprised it they did favor Kane again.

        • @Billisbob -> you alright pal ?
Good to see you back 😉 !
