Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 36

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Gameweek 36. Back to normality this week – 10 fixtures spread over three days, everyone plays just the once, no doubles, no blanks, probably a few wildcards.

It’s Liverpool who again kick off our game-week as they host relegation bound Stoke. It’s a must win for the Potters if they are to have any realistic chance of staying up….Crouchie time?

Five 3pm kick offs and it’s all about the relegation battle as Brighton go to Burnley, Palace host Leicester, Huddersfield welcome Everton, West Brom travel to Newcastle and Bournemouth can inflict further trouble on fellow south coasters Southampton.

The evening sees Swansea looking for a much needed three points as Chelsea come to town.
Sunday is Manc today. First up the Champions take the pleasurable trip to West Ham before Wenger gets a chance to say goodbye to Old Trafford.

We end on Monday as Spurs look to bounce back from recent Wembley disappointments as they host Watford.

Same as Mr. Bean-up against prices. A dilemma. I’m trying to get ready for DGW37. I have no chips left, and I have an xx lead on my closest rival, who has just used his WC to set up a TC.

My current team is (DG unless [S] beside the name):

    De Gea

    Azpilicueta Morgan Vertonghen

    Salah[S] Sterling Lingard Willian

    Wood[S] Kane Vardy

Fabianski GroS Tarkowski [S] Lowton [S]

My opponent has 3 Spurs (Kane, Eriksen and Son) and two Man City (Sterling and Jesus). He also has two Newcastle and one So’ton players-none particularly strong. His others are DeGea and Lejeune. I’m not sure he will hold onto Salah, his captain this week.

I am thinking about trading out Azpi, Salah and Wood for Mawson, Son, and Jesus (-8). I am trying to rationalize the -8 by thinking it’s only a -4, over two games. Are there better moves? Puzzled, as I think ‘Pool will be in tough against Chelsea, and I think I need Jesus as a possible C.

Looks like they did their best to stuff it up too! Napoli must be gutted.

      • An Italian classic !
        -Juve 0-1 up
        -Inter gets a red card
        -2nd half Inter scores 2 !!
        -87th & 89th min-> Juve scores 2 !!
        2-3 final score…

Nearly had a heart attack !

        • inittowinit says:

Makes a change, I thought there was an unwritten rule whereby neither team could score more than one and preferably none?

        • Haha…
          Nah…
          Different times now…
Roma (a) is still on the menu…sandwiched between 2 home (easy) games…
Still a long way to go 😉 …

        • inittowinit says:

That was big tonight though. Massive in fact. So much pressure on Napoli tomorrow now. If they get through that you’d expect them to win the 2 remaining at home so I reckon it comes down to that GW37 (so to speak!) as they’re at Samp when you’re at Roma.

As an aside I do like it that they play all the 37 games at the same time (as well as the 38 ones). Takes away any ‘pressure’ advantage at a key stage. No that that helps Napoli’s nerves this week!

        • Italy will be Italy, mate…don’t forget smile
There are already reports on Fiorentina “giving it away” to Napoli tomorrow, like an early Christmas present !!
The betting odds went down w/in 24hrs in Napolu’s favour.
Dejavu once again when it comes to the last 3-4 rounds in Italy…

Roma won today comfortably and Inter lost…
So the hope is Roma won’t need the points against Juve as they have all but secured that CL spot after today’s win…

My guess is Inter will have to win the direct duel with Lazio in the last round to claim that last 4th CL spot !

4days before Roma Juve also plays the Cup Final with Milan…
          So, it won’t be that easy…for sure…

        • inittowinit says:

Lol, it’s more like politics than football over there! You don’t play fantasy Italian football do you?

        • It’s c**p …
The PL fantasy is the best one by far !

        • inittowinit says:

I actually read that as ‘corrupt’ and not ‘crap’ laugh

The GW37 squad so far. wont do more than 3 transfers.

Planning to do Willian -> Silva/ramsey/son. Barnes -> Ayew. Hegazi -> Van Der Horn/Bednark/Cedric

He’s a legend. And now he has his own terrace chant smile

Did you catch my post last night? I think he’s done 31 hits this season now. I’ve only done 12 more actual transfers, normal ones (and I’d say that’s fairly average for most) : D
