Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 37

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 37. Both the title itself and the final relegation spot could be decided this week, depending on the results. Conversely we could very well be saying the exact same thing next week. The difference being that if not this week then next week they definitely will be.

We begin with the televised game that we’ve all been waiting for all season. Cancel your plans and settle down as Burnley, who have nothing to play for go to Everton, who have nothing to play for. This is not quite what Friday night games were invented for!

To be fair to the TV companies every other live game this weekend does actually have something riding on it beginning with Spurs trying to guarantee themselves a CL spot as they visit Bournemouth in the early Saturday game. There are then just two 3pm games as West Ham host Southampton in a dead rubber and Wolves go for 7th against a resurgent Fulham.

Cardiff then stare relegation in the face at 5.30pm as Palace pay them a visit before the first part of the title saga gets underway at 7.45pm as Liverpool go to Newcastle.

Sunday sees us with three games as both Chelsea vs Watford and Huddersfield vs Man United begin at 2pm in a battle to see who wants CL qualification the least. Arsenal will chip in with their own bid later at 4.30pm as they host Brighton.

Man City will then see us out on Monday by either bidding to stay in the title race or indeed winning it, depending on Liverpool’s result on Saturday. Leicester will be the team looking to scupper either ambition.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Took out Eriksen (2) and Son(-2) for Pogba(2) and Hazard(11) for free. So that’s a 13 point gain I will most gladly take. Just waiting for Kun(c) and Laporte to bring points tomorrow.

MU need a new coach every 6 months – each time it should be a genial ex-club legend! Good old Huddersfield. Even tho I brought in 2 token United players (one who was supposedly ill and the other who should have been!) , or should I say 2 ‘tokin” United players? Hahaha. What a funny old game it is! Looking forward to Larry, Curlie and Mo (ie. Kun, Sterlo and Laporte) in tomorrow’s offering! Put the C on Larry! Enjoy your Sunday evenings!

This season I missed all big hauls of Aguero, Hazard, Mane, Sterling and everytime I picked them at wrong time. Hope next season I can rectify part of it. Anyway, whats the plan for Gw38?
I have 2 FTs and open to take hit – SON is definitely out, Gray lost his spot. Jota+Jimenez – don’t see doing a lot vs Pool. JWP did not start. Looks like I need a third WC. smile
UTD – really doubt whom to bring / bring at all? On top of that there will be rotations, personal pride, beach mood etc etc. – its a mess.

Similar situation, and on top of that my ML will be super tight at the top! Will get some headaches this week.

      Zed Leppelin says:

Do you have Salah, if he’s out then it’s easy Salah/Son –> Sterling Hazard for me at least, then perhaps take -8 to sell Jimenez and Jota, I’m hoping Yoshida will play so I can play 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 and just bench either Jimenez or Jota in a -4 scenario, but hits there definitely will be!! smile

      • GoalMachine says:

Salah is fit, so no issue with him. Anyway we will come to know on Tuesday and I am sure he will play though Pool has no hope against Barca. Gw38 can be crucial for Salah as he is only 2 goals ahead for a golden boot.
After such a season, Pool is not winning anything – neither CL, nor PL (don’t see PEP dropping this one). The only award they can get is the golden boot by Salah in consecutive season.

        • hammerfan_lm says:

how do we know Salah will play again this season?

        • Kruzcampo says:

He was filmed walking down the steps of STJP carrying his bag and getting on the team bus. Also Lovren says he is OK.

        • inittowinit says:

Protocol guidelines say he shouldn’t, he probably will though.

        • Zed Leppelin says:

Ok, that’s nice then, don’t need to take -8 then smile

        • Kruzcampo says:

Didn’t Roma beat Barca 3-0 after getting beaten 4-1 away and went through on away goals? That was last season in the quarters of the CL.
Remember the Dortmund game .2-0 down in 10 minutes and 3-1 down after 60. Won it 4-3 with the winning goal by Lovren in injury time.
This Liverpool will never be no hopers, and if we go in 2-0 up at halftime I would be confident of them going through!!

    Kruzcampo says:

Who is everybody selling Son for. I am undecided between Bilva and Hazard and will probably do Jiminez to Zaha for a hit. I also keep a Z in my team as in my id!

      Zed Leppelin says:

If you already have Sterling then Hazard for sure!

      • Kruzcampo says:

Eriksen,Mane,Salah,Jota and Son and Ings Wilson ,Jiminez up top. Benching Jota-Liverpool and probably Ings as he does not get full game time. Can’t afford Stirling and thought Bilva would be next best. I could do Jimi to Kun and that leaves 6.4 for a mid such as Redmond or Townsend who have reasonable fixtures. Decisions, decisions!!

        • Zed Leppelin says:

Hazard then although Bilva could do well too, it’s just one game though so it’s all lottery anyway smile

      Wafflez says:

I have 8.8 to replace Son with, I think I’m going with Bilva…
