Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 37

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 37. Both the title itself and the final relegation spot could be decided this week, depending on the results. Conversely we could very well be saying the exact same thing next week. The difference being that if not this week then next week they definitely will be.

We begin with the televised game that we’ve all been waiting for all season. Cancel your plans and settle down as Burnley, who have nothing to play for go to Everton, who have nothing to play for. This is not quite what Friday night games were invented for!

To be fair to the TV companies every other live game this weekend does actually have something riding on it beginning with Spurs trying to guarantee themselves a CL spot as they visit Bournemouth in the early Saturday game. There are then just two 3pm games as West Ham host Southampton in a dead rubber and Wolves go for 7th against a resurgent Fulham.

Cardiff then stare relegation in the face at 5.30pm as Palace pay them a visit before the first part of the title saga gets underway at 7.45pm as Liverpool go to Newcastle.

Sunday sees us with three games as both Chelsea vs Watford and Huddersfield vs Man United begin at 2pm in a battle to see who wants CL qualification the least. Arsenal will chip in with their own bid later at 4.30pm as they host Brighton.

Man City will then see us out on Monday by either bidding to stay in the title race or indeed winning it, depending on Liverpool’s result on Saturday. Leicester will be the team looking to scupper either ambition.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

  1. Hazard TC worked a treat, thank you all!

Managed to cut my rivals lead from 51 to 15 points. We both have sterling & kun plus he has Laporte so let’s see how it pans out tomorrow.

    • What move would you make if you were in my position.

My team and my opponent below:

    • Oh, nice one Mitro. I’m pleased that happened. Excellent.

    • Back in it then

      • Hanging in there! I think capo will decide it next week!

    • Nice one mate, glad it worked out for you! 15 points is tough, I’m 14 behind in mine and I’ve accepted 2nd but that doesn’t mean I’ve given up!!

      • 14 is doable! Are your teams similar?

I’m happy going into the last GW with me having zaha, TAA, mane and hazard as my opponent doesn’t have them yet!

        • Only 4 players different but he has Sterling captain and me Aguero! I have 2 FT he has one. I’m ok with second though given how far off I was at Xmas! Clawed my way back from over 200k to 20k so I’m happy with my lot!

        • That could go either way. U could be top tomorrow.

      • That’s nothing basically a captain decision.

    • Was thinking about you today mate when the notifications were coming through for Chelseas goals !! smile

  2. Level on points at top of ML now. 3rd just 4 behind.

As tight as the title race!!

  3. Foster
    Laporte TAA Yoshida
    Son Hazard Jota Salah
    Jimenez Aguero Wilson

    Lloris Doherty Dunk Holland

Is Son -> Bilva good enough?

    • On the face of it yeah decent move.

Depends a lot on what you need to happen on the last day with regards to mini leagues.

    • On the last day things can be unpredictable. I would look to spread coverage to different teams/matches. May be Millovetic, Fraser etc.

    • Yeah nice move. I assume you’re consolidating your position given the lack of crazy ideas and taking no hits. Well, that’s what I’m doing (making sure I win my cash league) and that’s what I would do (Son —> Bilva) if it weren’t for the fact that I’ve got 2FT and three City.

  4. Ok what to do here? Mini league won, just chasing OR, currently 387th. 1FT, 0.5ITB.
    Lloris (Foster)
    TAA Bednarek Doherty (Dunk Cathcart)
    Salah Hazard Mane Redmond (Jota)
    Aguero Wilson Jimenez

    • Great rank you tell me. Either Jimenez or Doherty out.

      • Cheers Smash for encouraging me to take a 4 point hit to get in Mane for the Huddersfield game. It worked a treat!!

        • No worries. You have given me great advice before. Glad it worked out

      • Thanks, good points. Do you think Hazard plays if they reach the Europa final? Indeed Che & Ars could be big rotation risks with the league settled.

  5. Great OR Stone Frog. Nothing really pressing. Best thing to do is wait until pressers and if nothing comes up get Emerson or another Soton defender for Doherty or sell Jiminez.
