Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 37
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 37. Both the title itself and the final relegation spot could be decided this week, depending on the results. Conversely we could very well be saying the exact same thing next week. The difference being that if not this week then next week they definitely will be.
We begin with the televised game that we’ve all been waiting for all season. Cancel your plans and settle down as Burnley, who have nothing to play for go to Everton, who have nothing to play for. This is not quite what Friday night games were invented for!
To be fair to the TV companies every other live game this weekend does actually have something riding on it beginning with Spurs trying to guarantee themselves a CL spot as they visit Bournemouth in the early Saturday game. There are then just two 3pm games as West Ham host Southampton in a dead rubber and Wolves go for 7th against a resurgent Fulham.
Cardiff then stare relegation in the face at 5.30pm as Palace pay them a visit before the first part of the title saga gets underway at 7.45pm as Liverpool go to Newcastle.
Sunday sees us with three games as both Chelsea vs Watford and Huddersfield vs Man United begin at 2pm in a battle to see who wants CL qualification the least. Arsenal will chip in with their own bid later at 4.30pm as they host Brighton.
Man City will then see us out on Monday by either bidding to stay in the title race or indeed winning it, depending on Liverpool’s result on Saturday. Leicester will be the team looking to scupper either ambition.
The games in full…

The League Codes for FF247 for the 2018/19 season are as follows –
5 players so far and a total of 0 points!!!
Who have you got in your team AB?
Early, but still…
Ha! So pleased I got Wilson’s two points
I should probably feel far more grateful for Lloris’ hefty 3 (so close to 8 or 9) points.
Doheety goal. Hell to the yes.
Owww assist. Nevermind me.
Cappo Jota not doing much apart from hitting the woodwork and getting a yellow…
Yeah same here. Also an excellent decision to keep Son another game week. He just keeps trolling me.
Who has been your player of the season? Mine would have to be Doherty. Had him since the beginning
Looking at my team currently, one of them has to be Matt Doherty, had a few double-digit hauls early in the season and he’s been great in the end too, sold him during the middle of the season when he didn’t do much, had him in at just the right times it seems…
Doherty or Robertson for me
Quaner
Indeed, I have net 18pts from 6, would have been very grim without Doherty.
Similar sad case here…17 pts from 5. Darn that goal from BOU in overtime.
AWB for the price.
Son
Robertson, without a doubt, for me: he’s the highest-scoring FPL defender in history and has been in my starting XI for every single Gameweek — except for my FH weekend — he still, quite fittingly, mustered an assist in that one.
That’s my biggest regret taking Robertson out on my wildcard at the end of December
Same Smash.
Smash, specialK, don’t worry about it: TAA and VvD have both blown Robertson out of the water tonight.
Robertson. Most points, most BPS of any player in my side.
Nods to the Pog, Vardy and Richarlison. All have made telling contributions.
Will never forget Wan-Bissaka.
Higgins in the final!!
Great one for the country of unicorns!!!
Fantastic match. Feel sorry for gilbert prob the best chance he’ll ever get but what a legend Higgins is
Can’t see Wilson beating Trump anymore so it’s 2011 final again, I feel Trump will be tough to beat this time, he came so close in 2011 and now he feels its his turn (I wouldn’t disagree)
Newcastle v Liverpool
No firmino…
