Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 37

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Gameweek 37. Another Double Game-week you say? We’ll have some of that! Let’s just hope it’s better than the last one… This one begins on Friday night and goes all the way through until next Thursday. And just for housekeeping purposes you need to be on the ball a bit after that as GW38 begins less than two and a half days later on Sunday afternoon.

‘Live Match Chat’ won’t go all the way through to Thursday though, we shall be interrupting it on about Monday with the first of our usual flow of articles to get you ready for that final day push.

GW37 begins with the first of two games for both Brighton and Man United on Friday night.

Saturday then takes it’s usual shape with both an early and a late game bookending four other matches.

The remaining three games are spread over Sunday and that sees the end of our ‘normal’ ten games.

The ‘double’ bit of DGW37 begins on Tuesday with a huge relegation showdown as Cheerful Carlos entertains Horrible Hughes.

Wednesday sees the bulk of the doubles with four games before we finally close out on Thursday with West Ham hosting Man United.

  3. 6th minute of 4 minutes of added time. So unlucky. Not sure why they let it go so long into added time.

    • I lost 8 points from that with McCarthy and Cedric on my bench playing BB. Not to mention any extra bonus Cedric would have got with a clean sheet!

    • Damn referee costing us points! Haha

    • How does that happen when 4 minutes are shown on the board yet 5 1/2 minutes are played.? Where do the extra 90 seconds come from according to the referee?
      If I was Mark Hughes I would be demanding answers. VAR is not the only thing that should be brought in. Big clocks in every stadium that get loaded with the extra time with a big siren sounding when it ends!!

        • Init, yup! I am frustrated with the loss of 7 FPL points, but I’m also gutted for Soton, who did all they should have had to do to get the 3 points and then that happens. Sad that if Redmond has just let that roll out of play then the whistle would likely have been blown. Shame for them.
          Also just a crap day as a Spurs fan and Lane captainer :/

    • Didn’t watch the game but it added time is a minimum amount – can always be increased by the ref because if further stoppages after 90.

      Spoken by somebody who wanted soton to lose their clean sheet of course 😉

      • Yeah Bean, just absolutely nothing in the first 4 that warranted any additional.

  5. Surely Shaqiri move on? Lambert not good enough at this level. Odd choice as replacement for Hughes anyway.
