Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 38
THANK YOU
Hi, Init here. Or Adam, whichever you prefer. I don’t often break cover from the ‘FF247’ facade but there’s a good reason to right now. Which is simply to say thanks to you all.
Thanks for following, thanks for reading, thanks for commenting. Thanks for being involved.
It’s been a long and difficult season, for a number of (bleedingly obvious) reasons.
From an editorial POV it’s been an absolute nightmare. We usually post about 5 or 6 articles a week but given the ‘new’ TV schedules the GW’s have been running into each other with alarming regularity. The fixture schedule itself has been altered so many times it almost became a joke to even attempt to follow it.
As such we have done the best we could. Which is to react to every GW announcement and post an article or two accordingly.
From a personal POV I still felt like we were letting people down (and I hate that), by not providing a regularly consistent flow of articles.
On reflection, we simply did what we could.
Regardless, any time I looked at the comments it was nothing but consistent and supportive.
Which leads me back to the title; THANK YOU.
Brilliant community, brilliant ‘family’.
As for GW38….
The games in full…

Sheff Utd vs Burnley
West Ham vs Southampton
Thanks to those who advised playing Watkins over Greenwood.
I left Greenwood on the pitch and Watkins first on the bench.
Let’s hope he doesn’t do a cameo with nothing and f up if Watkins does something to Chelsea
Hope Greenwood stays on bench too.
Which match you are planning to watch? I mean an end to end game expected with plenty of goals?
Good question. I can tell you which one I’m definitely NOT watching
I’ll watch Liverpool game but prob not the best one.
I’m gonna watch the Man U game on mute and listen to BBC radio 5 for the scores in the rest of the games.
Is there a place where all 10 matches are televised in 10 small windows in conference mode?
Sky sometimes do it for Bundesliga.
That sounds like a nightmare haha I think I’ll be watching the Spurs game, much chaos potential.
Dan, are the games shown down under on pay tv or mainstream ones?
I used to get a multiscreen broadcast from those dodgy sites but they are all removed now by Sky and BT Sports who want all the dosh for themselves
Sky Germany is providing me the conference of all EPL games and only the City game in full. In conference, they will show each game for 2-3 minutes in rotation and all the goals whenever it happens. I am all set with that – better than watching the City game.
Yes, that is the best way to watch the final day GM
Yeah – it’s called a pub!
Wolves vs Man Utd
Brilliant…only 7 starting!
