Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4

After two bumper game-weeks, perhaps GW3 was merely a reality check. It matters not though as GW4 is upon us already, with fresh promise. It’s quite the condensed affair too, beginning on Saturday and ending on Sunday. Almost old school. Almost.

It begins with Leicester hosting Liverpool in the early game, giving many a Salah captainer a weekend long headache should he fail to produce. Five 3pm games follow in quick succession. Brighton will attempt to keep the Mitro show at bay. Bournemouth will hope to somehow halt Alonso’s inevitable march in to everybody’s fantasy team once again. Zaha will be looking to put one more nail in Hughes’ coffin. Wally will attempt to make amends for Richarlison’s stupidity. And Arnie will make a last ditch attempt to stop Pellegrini being fed to the Wolves.

The evening game should pique some interest as Man City play host to Ashley’s mercenaries. A classic case of an evening captain over an early one once again, in reverse? Perhaps!

Sunday sees us out with three away games for Arsenal, Man United and Spurs, going to Cardiff, Burnley and Watford respectively.

What are you all doing with below players?
    (1) Bilva – rotation risk
    (2) Zaha – Does not impress much
    (3) Tomkins (also have Wan B) – Injured (Calf)
    (4) Firmino – better value FWDs are there
    (5) Pedro – rotation risk
    (6) Robertson – Tough Fix.

Bilva needs to go, he will not be consistent points scorer…

Zaha needs to go, he will not be consistent points scorer…

      Tomkins good if fit!

Yeah, better value than Firmo, Mane is better for instance in a 3-5-2

      Pedro looking strong!!

      Robbo for the season!

I am also thinking in same line….another terrible week with 42 points only and Mkhi to go. Tomkins is dropping in price tonight. I have to get Alonso as well, not sure whom to sell.

Firmino > Mitrovic or, WIlson – need to make a choice – that will give me fund to get Alonso. I am thinking of not picking any of Mane+Firmino for next few weeks. They have 1 easy game – SOU and it is sandwiched between 2 UCL and CHE (2) games – so there will some rotation for sure.

        • Kralin says:

Yes, I agree and I suspect we’ll see Liverpool rotation for that game (GW6).

One of my biggish calls this week, bearing the rotation in mind (the fixture difficulty doesn’t bother me too much) will be whether to swap Robertson for Alonso. That would give me the latter versus Cardiff and WHU or the former versus Spurs and then probably rested. Seems a pretty easy decision.

      I’m a bit more positive
BSilva yeah a rotation risk but it’s like that with all City midfielders and he’s not that expensive
Zaha: has been scoring, have good fixtures, he was just injured today
Tomkins: prob not worth a double up on Palace defenders
Firmino: yeah Mane has been scoring more but his points have been fairly steady
Pedro: will always be rotated with Willian but he got 6 points from the bench and he’s cheap

Is Walcott likely to be back next week? How bad did it look?
