Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4
After two bumper game-weeks, perhaps GW3 was merely a reality check. It matters not though as GW4 is upon us already, with fresh promise. It’s quite the condensed affair too, beginning on Saturday and ending on Sunday. Almost old school. Almost.
It begins with Leicester hosting Liverpool in the early game, giving many a Salah captainer a weekend long headache should he fail to produce. Five 3pm games follow in quick succession. Brighton will attempt to keep the Mitro show at bay. Bournemouth will hope to somehow halt Alonso’s inevitable march in to everybody’s fantasy team once again. Zaha will be looking to put one more nail in Hughes’ coffin. Wally will attempt to make amends for Richarlison’s stupidity. And Arnie will make a last ditch attempt to stop Pellegrini being fed to the Wolves.
The evening game should pique some interest as Man City play host to Ashley’s mercenaries. A classic case of an evening captain over an early one once again, in reverse? Perhaps!
Sunday sees us out with three away games for Arsenal, Man United and Spurs, going to Cardiff, Burnley and Watford respectively.

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

Same here…. the kind of luck Mane is having, he can outscore Salah….unfortunately I am still stuck with Firmino and when I will sell him (this week most probably), he will start scoring.

You wanna hold on to Robertson and salah. But with lfc’s new solid defence Alisson very well could be the keeper of the season. But keepers rarely outscore the cheaper options by gigantic points…

I know. Will watch Salah’s returns & positioning.Seems to be playing more to assist than to attach & score atm.

Not overly. Salah, Mane or Firmino could all score well in any given week. He is raising the question about whether it is really worth spending the extra 3m on Salah but not having Mane doesn’t necessary worry me.
I have Robertson, Salah & Firmino. May remove Firmino over the upcoming tough fixtures but Salah will always be the best captain choice out of the 4 imo.

Exactly the goal I needed. Firmino was one of my few differentials and it’ll hopefully protect his price throughout the international break.
Milner looks really good value as well. If I had room for a 4th Liverpool player it may well be him.

Firmino goal stole all his bonus outs too hatter. Not liking that. Took Firmino out last week and now he got an assist and goal. Saving grace is that I took in Mitrovic for him :smirk:

What will you do if Kane starts firing? I hold Firmino to transfer to Lacaz or Kane….because downgrading him will distribute the fund elsewhere. In that process, I got stuck. Now I am totally unsure whether to upgrade my midfld and forget about Kane.
