Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4. No Friday fixture this time, but a big slate of games on Saturday to get the GW going. In all there is 8 fixtures and kicking it off with a lunch time affair is Southampton hosting the crap again Manchester United.
That early game is followed by six 3pm games. We have Lampard’s boys taking on Lundstram’s crew, along with that we also see Palace vs Villa and Newcastle vs Watford. Simultaneously we also get Leicester hosting Bournemouth, Man City taking apart Brighton and West Ham versus Norwich in the battle of the cheap strikers. The day is then closed out by Burnley vs Liverpool which should see 21 players inside the Clarets’ penalty area most of the game.
Sunday brings us the remaining two fixtures. The early game sees Everton play host to Wolves, should be an interesting game between one team who doesn’t know how to attack versus a team who is too tired to attack. The late game has the best game on paper of the game-week. Arsenal (just lost to LFC) takes on Spurs (just lost at home to Toon) in what should help us to start to figure out which team will finish 20 points behind second place in 3rd and which team will finish 25 points behind second place in 4th.
The games in full…

50 points with Salah, Robertson, Coleman and Pope to go.
Very disappointed with Cpt Sterling.
That’s a bloody good score
70 points, if the BP’s remain the same with only Mane, Digne and Pope to go. Can’t complain :drinks:
Congrats man…that is fantastic!!!
Cheers Bees, it was a quick WC after few beers
Quick WC after a few beers, that’s the best way to play this game and the proof is in the pudding :good:
 Yep ZL, you should know better than anyone else :drinks:
Haha, I haven’t flushed mine yet, strangely enough there’s no WC down at the cellar… Would be convenient given the amount of liquids consumed 😆
That’s a bloody huge score, Bee.
So I have 5 players in this Burnley v Liverpool game. Surely someone will get some points
And some won’t
My City contingent have brought in over 20 points and I’m pretty happy with that.
Just one of those weeks and you can’t have them all. And the GW is far from done.
As long as it’s not Pope I dont mind lol
Hello everyone,
WC activated. Would you prefer this team (with an extra 0.6 ITB) ?
Or that team? (0.3ITB)
So, Aguero + Ayew + 4.5 defense
Or Haller + Abraham + Robertson + Zichenko ?
Second is certainly more balanced. Kun looks like a man on a mission though.
Exactly.
I feel that I have to push just a little too hard to get Kun on top of Sterling, KdB and Salah…
But when he scores like today, well, he probably is worth it! :hippo:
It’s hardly a bad four to be basing a team around. They’ll probably bring the majority of points in over the piece between them. Them and Mane…. hopefully!
Prefer it to…..
Ah ok!
You are too fast innit!
Right, bottled bring in Kun for a hit last night. Just anger activated the wildcard. Kun, KDB, Haller, Abraham, are there any others people can think of that’ll be going up over the next two weeks?
Vardy possibly?
Good shout
Vardy has MU, Spurs and LIV in the next three games…(not that MU will stop him).
or any Spurs for that matter
Yeah, might put people off. Just want to build some TV
Congrats to Kan (c) ers…. nicely played
Thanks 😉
Yeah was the best call today for sure. His minutes will be managed again when Jesus is back after the break again now
I so want him in my WC team, but that is the fly in the ointment. I still think he will play most games though.
Pep’s never really fancied Jesus as anything more than a luxury back up. And why would you when you have the Rolls Royce option.
I see him as more than a luxury back up. Jesus started the season then Aguero got bought off against Spurs. Jesus got injured and might have come in. Thing is Aguero knee his place was under threat and has really stepped up last two games so is undoubtedly number one. Can you have KDB, Sterling, Aguero and Salah though
Well you can….. you know the rest.
He only started the season because Kun came back late, hence his low ownership at that point. A shame I said to Cookie last night Pep will play Jesus in the CL group games and Kun will get the PL ones.
They came back the same time but yeah there could be something in that Europe thing
Site team calling the correct cap choice. Well done .
Truth be told we never did complete that vote! We only got 3/5 in by ‘publishing’ time, but I liked the ‘result’ as it was and so cracked on regardless. Democracy in action :mosking:
