Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4. No Friday fixture this time, but a big slate of games on Saturday to get the GW going. In all there is 8 fixtures and kicking it off with a lunch time affair is Southampton hosting the crap again Manchester United.

That early game is followed by six 3pm games. We have Lampard’s boys taking on Lundstram’s crew, along with that we also see Palace vs Villa and Newcastle vs Watford. Simultaneously we also get Leicester hosting Bournemouth, Man City taking apart Brighton and West Ham versus Norwich in the battle of the cheap strikers. The day is then closed out by Burnley vs Liverpool which should see 21 players inside the Clarets’ penalty area most of the game.

Sunday brings us the remaining two fixtures. The early game sees Everton play host to Wolves, should be an interesting game between one team who doesn’t know how to attack versus a team who is too tired to attack. The late game has the best game on paper of the game-week. Arsenal (just lost to LFC) takes on Spurs (just lost at home to Toon) in what should help us to start to figure out which team will finish 20 points behind second place in 3rd and which team will finish 25 points behind second place in 4th.

The games in full…

Mane off, wasn’t happy. Know the feeling mate!

    Awaiting Salahs goal now..

Bringing in David Silva beside KDB and captaining Salah while under the influence wasn’t the greatest shout but also not the worst. I’ll take it.

Fairly nice to see Fabianski get a clean sheet too even if it meant pukki didn’t grab any points.

Richarlison, Jota, digne and Cabellos left to play.

On 47 with Ceballos and Digne to play.

Sterling cappo didn’t go well but can’t get it right every time I guess…

Faith in pool defenders finally came good.

    Haller looks good. And Abraham.

Salah or Sterling every week for captain. Four weeks and I’ve got it wrong every time :dash:

Thinking of Kane and Siggy > Aguero and James for free. If Jota doesn’t perform tomorrow, is it worth him to Haller for a -4? Team below. Thoughts welcome.

What’s everyone’s opinion on the necessity of Aguero? I currently have Mane (who I have money in the bank to turn into Salah), Sterling and KDB as my big hitters! But wondering who is more important either Aguero or KDB?

I think Aguero will out score KDB but for 2.3 mil extra I don’t think it’ll be worth it.

I have both but this season I think I’d drop Aguero first if I had to (strangely).

My opinion which some will disagree on is I’m in no rush to get him at all in fact I don’t think I will. I thought with Jesus not available he was the stand out captain choice this week. Going forward I’d just prefer Sterling and KDB as I think they will get more minutes and are cheaper. All three would be great but that’s a lot of cash and not sure you can have all three with Salah/Mane. For me Aguero’s mins will always be slightly managed while Jesus is about and he will be back next game

So you’re saying you’d prefer Salah, Sterling and KDB over Salah, Sterling and Aguero. I guess the former means I can have a stronger defence. Just annoying when you see rivals walk away with captaining Aguero sad

      • Smash says:

I’d prefer Salah, Aguero and Sterling. However because of the saving of 2.3 million of KDB I’d have him as he will get a lot of points this season. And yes it gives a much stronger defence and therefore a lot better balance
