Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4. No Friday fixture this time, but a big slate of games on Saturday to get the GW going. In all there is 8 fixtures and kicking it off with a lunch time affair is Southampton hosting the crap again Manchester United.
That early game is followed by six 3pm games. We have Lampard’s boys taking on Lundstram’s crew, along with that we also see Palace vs Villa and Newcastle vs Watford. Simultaneously we also get Leicester hosting Bournemouth, Man City taking apart Brighton and West Ham versus Norwich in the battle of the cheap strikers. The day is then closed out by Burnley vs Liverpool which should see 21 players inside the Clarets’ penalty area most of the game.
Sunday brings us the remaining two fixtures. The early game sees Everton play host to Wolves, should be an interesting game between one team who doesn’t know how to attack versus a team who is too tired to attack. The late game has the best game on paper of the game-week. Arsenal (just lost to LFC) takes on Spurs (just lost at home to Toon) in what should help us to start to figure out which team will finish 20 points behind second place in 3rd and which team will finish 25 points behind second place in 4th.
The games in full…

Who do we rate out of the good value strikers:
Abraham (7.1)
Haller (7.4)
Pukki (6.8)
Barnes (6.7)
Arguably Ayew for (5.0)
The first four :big-lol:
All really good options though. Absolute mine of talent in attack this year.
Pick 3 ;).
The first three I think.
Mine of talent in attack, but not defence.
Prob Pukki, Abraham, Haller, Barnes in that order
However Barnes has the best run of games
Haller for me, I think come the end of the season westham will have scored the most goals. Just how man hell be involved with is the question
Barnes and Haller are the two I’m looking at most closely from that quartet (to come in for Jota). Having said that, Jota has Chelsea next, at home.
Cant make a decision to WC or not with this lot. 0.8 in the bank and 2FT. I’m happy with the squad, the only reason to WC will be to get Aguero and change the formation. What do you guys reckon?
Similar to my dilemma and similar to my team KP. I asked the question on the previous page on KDB it Aguero and was wondering whether it’s worth breaking up a decent midfield and likely downgrading a good defender to fit Aguero in. It’s hard when he keeps getting goals though!
I’ve got nine of your eleven starting players and I’m pretty happy with my team. I’d be happier with a better start. However I’ve seen wildcard teams that look pretty identical to mine
Im wildcarding with a similar team
To what out of interest?
No, please
Very tempted to do the following brfore price rises:
Kane to kun
Pukki to Tammy
Wan b to janmat
All for a hit.
What do we think guys?
Awful moves in a terrible circumstance in my opinion man u man.
Stop sitting on the fence GP! :not_i:
I think they are pretty terrible moves
Really? I’m surprised with that reaction.
Yeah this week was the week to own Kun. Jesus is back now. Kane in the flip side has Palace at home and a decent run of games now anyway. Abraham now has two tough games now. Pukki only has one blank which is prob only because Norwich blanked. Janmat is just a terrible pick and is clearly a worse option that WB
Forgive me man u man but I am nothing if not honest.
Why are we ditching Kane before he plays, Pukki completely then doing it 13 days before the next deadline and for -4 points…?
Cheers guys, I didn’t think of all that, I suppose it was just a reaction to the points today. If kane has a poor day tomorrow, I’ll be tempted to ditch him for kun somehow. Janmat was just for the money 4.4.That told me lol.
That’s as good as getting a ‘looks great, crack on’ comment, probably better actually. If people care enough to take actual care in criticising in a constructive manner I think that’s brilliant. Makes me proud of the community we have here.
That said, those are sh*te moves :slaphead:
Unless wildcarding I’d hold your horses – international breaks sometimes lead to limb breaks, etc. And the moves look a bit knee-jerky to me. Kane could be a hero this time tomorrow.
True, cheers bud.
On 54 with Digne to play. Reasonably happy with WC, especially as I shifted Zouma.
Yes, that’s good. Above the average so far. Often a wildcard side can bomb in its first week.
28 points. I give up 😆
Kane could come good tomorrow. Its tough at times. The only difference between my score and yours is one player
Yeah it’s a horrible game when things go wrong. My OR rank has dropped nearly 900k places this week. Don’t really feel like I want to WC but there’s players I don’t have that are killing me
I wanted rashford at the start, if he scored that peno in gw3 hed still be good returning 3 out of 4.
With the ib next week sit on the wc I’d say.
Thing is you cant have them all and sometimes the players you want, you cant get. I wanted KDB. Just couldnt afford the 4 (other 3 being Salah, Sterling and Aguero).
Good score dreamers. When that 1 player is cap kun its always a good thing.
Thanks Gavy
And next week could be a whole lot better Offaly. Just got to take the sh*t ones on the chin and move on.
Congrats to those who had kun as capo!! Just saw the game and he is looking extremely sharp – should have had a Hattie if not more! I want to get him now but lots of things could go wrong over the IB!
Pancho aka hit king – if you are around mate – check out our score! 86 😉
Nice score.
