Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4. No Friday fixture this time, but a big slate of games on Saturday to get the GW going. In all there is 8 fixtures and kicking it off with a lunch time affair is Southampton hosting the crap again Manchester United.

That early game is followed by six 3pm games. We have Lampard’s boys taking on Lundstram’s crew, along with that we also see Palace vs Villa and Newcastle vs Watford. Simultaneously we also get Leicester hosting Bournemouth, Man City taking apart Brighton and West Ham versus Norwich in the battle of the cheap strikers. The day is then closed out by Burnley vs Liverpool which should see 21 players inside the Clarets’ penalty area most of the game.

Sunday brings us the remaining two fixtures. The early game sees Everton play host to Wolves, should be an interesting game between one team who doesn’t know how to attack versus a team who is too tired to attack. The late game has the best game on paper of the game-week. Arsenal (just lost to LFC) takes on Spurs (just lost at home to Toon) in what should help us to start to figure out which team will finish 20 points behind second place in 3rd and which team will finish 25 points behind second place in 4th.

The games in full…

Cheers GP. Do you think KDB is out for long? His injury looked bad.

Terrible GW with 41-4=37 points and Digne to go. Still repenting and blaming myself for last minute switching DIOP to bench and GREENWOOD to pitch. Yet to activate my WC or, use FT – entirely depends on whether to go for Aguero or not.

Hope we win the North London Derby today to make the week feel better. Come on Auba, Pepe, Laca and all.

Over the next 5 game weeks or so, which combination would you prefer out of Mount and Barnes or James and Abraham?

    Morning all
Feeling chuffed with my score 72 with -4
Responding to Dreamers / Smash comments earlier about having all 4 big hitting attackers, well I’ve managed it without too much sacrifice elsewhere..sort of?
Quite happy with it, maybe looking to move on AWB if Utds form continues to spiral,
With the 4 premiums the only thing that worries me is no TAA or Digne but I’ll take that with the attack I’ve got.

Forgot to wildcard but I still reckon my team looks decent. Perez to another midfielder and team is good.

Possibly play Lund over Greenwood and agreed. WHat money have you to replace Perez?

      • Raziel says:

Yeah already replaced Perez with those him. Funny part this is that at the start of the season I told everybody to go for Tielemans but literally everyone picked Perez, so that persuaded me. Huge regret now. Hehe.

@Raziel Your team and my team are almost the same except that I have KDB and King and you have Kun and Perez. So I share my thoughts:
      (1) Ryan vs Pope – I guess Pope will get the nod due to fixture, but there will not be massive difference, so its the optional transfer and should be done in WC only if at all
      (2) Perez – definitely needs a MID (plenty of options and you can pick any based on fixture) and same way for me its King – I need a Forward as King does not look in good touch
      (3) Both of us are stuck with 4-4-2 because Greenwood does not start and Dendo is getting rotated – also Wolves is looking tired due to UEL games. So we can occasionally play 3-5-2, but not consistently (which is not much of my liking)…and I don’t want to play 5-3-2.
      (4) WanB – another guy who is very tempting, yet not returning. Slowly my confidence on ManU def. is denting…and I am thinking of moving to 4.5m def. rotating with other 2 cheapos

So the verdict is, for you there is absolutely no reason to WC at this point. Just address the above points over coming weeks starting with Perez – you can even save the FT and switch to 4-3-3 (Perez to Cantwell and Greenwood to someone – not sure how much you have ITB). The only headache you will have in your (C) decision every week with 3 premium (C) material.

For me, its a bit different as the key decision for my WC is whether to get Aguero. Because to do that, I need to make quite a few changes.
