Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4
Welcome back! Isn’t international football wonderful?
Since the conclusion of GW3, the transfer window has, as the wallies on Sky Sports would say, slammed shut! It was a rather quiet deadline day this time around…Liverpool signed some Swedish bloke who Newcastle didn’t want. Newcastle, the bastions of decency, rescued Wissa from Brentford. United signed a 23-year-old to solve their goalkeeping woes. City signed Gianluigi Donnarumma. Only time will tell which Manchester club chose best. Arsenal signed a defender who’s only 6ft. Oh, and Raheem Sterling remained at Chelsea…
Anyway, onto GW4.
We kick off at 12:30 as Arsenal welcome a Forest side who were humbled by West Ham last time out. Will Nuno have a job come GW5? Turns out he didn’t have a job come GW4!!
We have an astonishing five games at 15:00. None are likely to set pulses racing. The most interesting of the lot sees an Everton side who have started well host Jack Grealish’s old club, Aston Villa, who haven’t enjoyed a great start. Bournemouth host Brighton, Palace host Sunderland, Fulham host Leeds, while bottom of the table Wolves travel to Newcastle.
At 17:30 Spurs make the short trip to the London stadium to face a West Ham side hoping to build on their impressive win against Forest.
Is there really a need for a game at 20:00 on a Saturday? No is the answer, but TV bosses disagree and as a result Brentford host Chelsea.
Onto Sunday and an out of form Liverpool, with three wins from three, travel to Burnley at 14:00.
The gameweek concludes with a game which Sky will call a blockbuster, but hasn’t been a blockbuster for some time, the Manchester derby. It must be a while since City entered the derby behind United in the table, but back-to-back defeats see Pep’s men in 13th while Ruben’s boys fly high in 9th. Where will the bragging rights lie come the final whistle?
The games in full…

Excellent! I ended on 80. Hopefully it will continue.
Good work guys. Continuing my downward spiral with 51, and into the mid 6m mark somewhere! It’s really way too early for me to WC though. Might just get the 2 Bournemouth lads this week.
Bye for now and congrats.
Just noticed i am world rank 80 in the fpl challenge.
. Lers see how long that will last.
Dont even take 5 mins to setup a quick team there.
Well done Reg! Go for gold mate! 😉
Haven’t been on since Sunday more.

Mind the gap

Hi Guys,
Is this my best line up/bench order? Doesn’t look like a good week in the making…

1FT any suggestions? Thanks
I think I would offload one of the Forrest boys. Probably Murillo. I know the fixtures look good on paper but that coaching change gives me the freaks.
Thanks ODT. Who would you suggest? I am .1 short for VVD. Not sure if Konate is a good choice?
ARS have MC and NEW up next…
Chalobah looks good. Aside from Liverpool their fixtures look great. If you want to pocket some more cash for later then Senesi. Bournemouth have looked pretty solid and their fixtures look great too.
Hey gang, trying to decide between rolling over 1 FT or moving on from Wilson? Been looking and no mid is jumping out at me for less than 9.0. Suggestions?

Enzo? Graelish? Szoboszlai? They all seem better options than Wilson.
Cheers ODT. Aready have 3 Pool and don’t want to risk a double up on Everton mids, so maybe Enzo it is.
