Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4. Thankfully the International break is over and what a way to kick it off in GW4. A Saturday lunch time affair brings with it the most interesting fixture of the week. City will play host to Liverpool and their new arrival Keita…wait, apparently he arrives next season, oh well, at least we get to see how Virgil van Dijk fits in. As for City, while Alexis did not arrive, Aguero is more than capable of taking up the pouting. That game is followed by five 3pm games. Big money Arsenal welcome in The Cherries, high scoring Brighton tangle with The Baggies, Everton will look to sober up after that drunken performance last time out when they meet up with September Kane. Leicester look to steal some points off the champions and Saints and Watford mix it up in a battle of two unbeaten teams. We finish the Saturday fixtures when the powerful Man United side pay a visit to Bet365 stadium, where I am sure the owners will take your bets on United crushing the home team.
Sunday makes us wish we were still in the International break as Burnley gets their chance at 3 easy points when Palace comes in and if that wasn’t punishment enough we get hit with Swansea vs Newcastle in the late game.
Sunday had some terrible games, but not to worry, as Monday will not be outdone and they offer up equally unwatchable stuff when The Hammers welcome in Huddersfield.

Looking like a moment of genius to bench DDG this GW. Stoke at the Brittania is always a tough one and with Jesé I’m hoping for him to get involved in Stoke’s second goal. #FingersCrossed
Hoping Elliot repays the faith in him.
Mane -> Eriksen seems an obvious move here, no?!
Definitely
I have 0 itb so need to take a hit for that to work
Fact, I have 4m in the bank because I did Kane -> Firmino before price changes this week… could have been a much better week for me…
Interesting captain choice Pancho
Lukaku sure looked offsides… nevermind…
I don’t mind since he’s my cappo. Hehe.
Hahah well played!
Was very very close in the first replay
2-2! Anything to not see mourning champion again.
Jesé should have scored the first opportunity but was a great header by Chupo!
No Kaku, no Kane, no Vardy. You brave soul.
Raz, there’s a fine line between race and stupid. Not sure which side I’m on…
*brave*
Lukaku and Salah may be the two worst finishers in the PL at the moment…both should have double their current goal tallies with the chances they’ve had
didnt see Lukaku but agree in principal.
Unless Salah was injured, made no sense to take him off. Surely from a probability perspective he was going to eventually do something
I already have Alli but am thinking of Mane -> Eriksen for the next few weeks… Salah is a direct replacement but I’m not sure how Liverpool will function without Mane. KDB seems interesting too but I can’t afford him. Anyone going the same route?
I am thinking the same but have Firmino, Jesus and Ali 😛 Don’t know who to go for! Can afford Kdb too!!! Leaning towards erik as Ali and erik can cover me for Kane. Still not sold on Kdb though he was astounding today can’t trust Pep, have Firmino and will have to wait now how Pool plays
I dont have Mane so dont have that problem. But cant argue with Eriksen given his form
Id still suggest Salah if you dont have Firmino.
Spurs’ next three in the Premier League are Swansea, West Ham and Huddersfield, while Liverpool have Burnley, Leicester and Newcastle. As you say, Liverpool don’t function well without Mane and they don’t tend to do well against Burnley either. I’d say Eriksen is your ideal replacement.
Rosco – not sure if you are about. You may want to fire me re the doubles with Grob on the bench
You had one job… ha ha to be fair we did ok! 50 points with 15 on the bench! Jesus I’d kill for that! It actually made be chuckle as I was super excited thinking ‘we have him!!’ Went and checked… second on the bench! Sums up my season thus far!! I’m trying to make light of it all and not get too downhearted about my clusterf@ck of a WC!!
Ya I thought we had him too
Ahh well whatcha gonna do!
