Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4. Thankfully the International break is over and what a way to kick it off in GW4. A Saturday lunch time affair brings with it the most interesting fixture of the week. City will play host to Liverpool and their new arrival Keita…wait, apparently he arrives next season, oh well, at least we get to see how Virgil van Dijk fits in. As for City, while Alexis did not arrive, Aguero is more than capable of taking up the pouting. That game is followed by five 3pm games. Big money Arsenal welcome in The Cherries, high scoring Brighton tangle with The Baggies, Everton will look to sober up after that drunken performance last time out when they meet up with September Kane. Leicester look to steal some points off the champions and Saints and Watford mix it up in a battle of two unbeaten teams. We finish the Saturday fixtures when the powerful Man United side pay a visit to Bet365 stadium, where I am sure the owners will take your bets on United crushing the home team.
Sunday makes us wish we were still in the International break as Burnley gets their chance at 3 easy points when Palace comes in and if that wasn’t punishment enough we get hit with Swansea vs Newcastle in the late game.
Sunday had some terrible games, but not to worry, as Monday will not be outdone and they offer up equally unwatchable stuff when The Hammers welcome in Huddersfield.

Well, today’s been interesting for me! Been so busy with work over the past two weeks, I’ve not been paying enough attention to my team (very strange, for me), however the three players I was considering taking out in a wildcard have all done well – KDB, Kane and Doucoure! Alas, other players haven’t done too well and so it’ll probably be them getting the shop instead!
*chop, not shop!
48 points with Carroll remaining.
Wasnt a good GW for clean sheets.
Who is the best replacement for Gabbi as a third striker with 7.3M budget?
I like his fixtures (Palace, Stoke and Newcastle in coming 4 GWs), but he has been very dull so far this season. Could replace him with Little Pea, but he got WB and Spurs next. Or maybe just go for Abraham in GW6.
Wait until Monday night as Chicharito, Vokes or Mounie could be good shouts.
I know it’s early but I’m trying to get over my tragic WC so I’m being proactive!
1. Mane – Alli
2. Mane & Chico – Kane + 4.4 bench fodder
3. Hold transfer
4. Something else
5. Shoot myself in the face
Thanks y’all!
Team of misery
If you can’t afford Mane to Eriksen, I think Alli is a great shout instead.
Ah, posted that before I saw your team! Yeah, go for Alli!
Mane > Salah. Liverpool has Burnley next, so wouldnt hurt you to double up with Firmino and Salah. In coming GWs it might become necessary to upgrade Firmino to Morata/Kane, which you will have to by downgrading Mkhi (cause you already have Lukaku).
You need to look at the bigger picture more carefully now since you have already played your WC.
Cheers B this makes sense and stupidly hadn’t thought of it like that! ( had a few beers!!)
I guess it comes down to doubling up on pool or spurs. Based on fixtures I think I’d just edge in favour of Alli
Had another shocking GW!!
You did okay. But gotta take care of Trips and Mane now.
Might do mane to eriksen unless I do a hit and get Kane back in
Yeah you did ok, on reflection I would have been 14 points worse had I not WC, I’m still doing shite overall but not all bad!
Ah dammit 6 points… beer+ maths = stupidity ..,
Is anyone thinking Mane to Coutinho?
No? Just me then…
Who is the better out of tripper and Davies for
1. Game time
2. Points
1. Davies
2. Coin toss
Thanks Rosco.
1. Davies, until Rose is back, then 50/50.
2. Davies, by a whisker. Isn’t he on some set pieces too?
Not sure about the set prices but thanks for your thoughts
I watched them the other week and he was on corners and the odd free kick.
Right, Willian is dead to me. I have 2FT and he’s gone. I just need to figure out the best method of replacing him. I’m thinking Willian & Lukaku to Pogba & Morata? Am I crazy to ditch Lukaku?
I’m also concerned about Hegazi. Why did he only play 56 mins today? Was he at fault again? Even if I do need to fix him, isn’t Willian more important first? If I do need to fix Hegazi then I’m thinking DDG & Hegazi to Foster & Jones.
Am I missing anything? Is the Lukaku move my best option now?
I’m also interested in Welbeck as a potential Chica replacement, but that’s a couple of GW’s away.
Thanks.
Willian is priority for me. I wouldnt be against playing Simpson anyway
Is it crazy to ditch Lukaku to make the Willian move decent though?
yes banjo
I sold Salah 2 weeks ago, had a stormer last week and then brought him back. Lukaku is in form, cant sell him
What have you itb Banjo?
How do I fund a decent Willian replacement then? Lukaku did miss a sitter today, and he tried to miss the one he scored! I’d be bringing in an in form Morata and Pogba in exchange.
Sorry 0.0 ITB
That trf does look good. Ok I am convinced – go for it
See how Brady does tomorrow Banjo. You could always downgrade Willian to him and swap Lukaku to Kane ??
I’m now thinking both Morata & Kane are must haves. Is it crazy to WC?!
Or…
I don’t see the need for a wc at this point mate.
