Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 4. Thankfully the International break is over and what a way to kick it off in GW4. A Saturday lunch time affair brings with it the most interesting fixture of the week. City will play host to Liverpool and their new arrival Keita…wait, apparently he arrives next season, oh well, at least we get to see how Virgil van Dijk fits in. As for City, while Alexis did not arrive, Aguero is more than capable of taking up the pouting. That game is followed by five 3pm games. Big money Arsenal welcome in The Cherries, high scoring Brighton tangle with The Baggies, Everton will look to sober up after that drunken performance last time out when they meet up with September Kane. Leicester look to steal some points off the champions and Saints and Watford mix it up in a battle of two unbeaten teams. We finish the Saturday fixtures when the powerful Man United side pay a visit to Bet365 stadium, where I am sure the owners will take your bets on United crushing the home team.

Sunday makes us wish we were still in the International break as Burnley gets their chance at 3 easy points when Palace comes in and if that wasn’t punishment enough we get hit with Swansea vs Newcastle in the late game.

Sunday had some terrible games, but not to worry, as Monday will not be outdone and they offer up equally unwatchable stuff when The Hammers welcome in Huddersfield.

  1. Should be be morata and kane *

  2. Do Mane -> Eriksen? Suggestions? And wait for CL matches or avoid price rise?

    • Yeah prob makes sense. Usually better to wait if you can especially because of all those European games

    • I’m a sucker for avoiding price rises, so I often take a punt. Smash is probably right, and it’s sensible to wait. I’d be intrigued to see stats as to how often people get injured playing European football. It’d be nice to know the odds on the gamble!

And yea, toss of a coin between Eriksen & Salah I guess. Spurs are looking good and have nice fixtures though.

      • Yes. And both Ali and Erik can help me cover Kane also don’t know if Pool will be as good without Mane and how they react will be interesting

        • I don’t think that’s a bad strategy to have Alli and Erikson to cover Kane. He is really expensive

    • You have the money ITB to wait until after the games are played snookie

  3. Well I can certainly see why Bayern were happy to let Sanches go. He’s looked bloody awful.

    • I thought he looked alright. He’s not exactly going to light up the fantasy world though

      • Really? I’ve not seen the whole game, but what I did see he gave the ball away a lot.

        • Yeah same I am pretty hungover. He won the ball a lot, gave the ball away a lot but was generally involved in everything Swansea have done

      • Just read a stat that Sanches gave away the ball 14 times in the first 28 minutes. I only saw the last hour, and I thought he looked useless 😉

  4. May have sold KDB and missed out, but it could of been worse!

  5. Early thoughts what to do here. I’m thinking of saving the transfer. Only 0.1 in the bank

    • Yeah roll it over mate

    • You sure Loftus will start next game? Wasnt even on the bench against Burnley. A sub appearance likely in the next game?

      • Yeah not sure. They have been saying in commentary today he’s been one of Palace’s best players in games played. Depends if he’s back from injury I guess

    • Would probably play Suttner over RLC for game time reasons, unless he is likely to start, looks good to go otherwise

  6. Anybody know what eriksen’s record is against Swansea?

    • Swansea did not look great today

    • Scored 19 points against them in the same fixture last year if I remember properly, 2 goals and an assist…Kane scored 2 as well in that game
