Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 5
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 5.
Back to reality. Or at least some semblance of it. We kick off on Saturday lunchtime with the title decider between Everton and Liverpool at 12.30pm.
The (new look) Soccer Saturday have been snookered again with just the one 3pm game to get their politically correct teeth into as Chelsea welcome Southampton.
Man City and Arsenal face off in the ‘tea-time’ game at 5.30pm
Newcastle and Man United see us out on Saturday at 8pm.
Sunday sees four games with Sheffield United and Fulham getting us under way at 12pm, followed by Palace and Brighton at 2pm, Spurs and West Ham at 4.30pm with Leicester and Villa in the late slot at 7.15pm.
We then have two games on Monday again with West Brom and Burnley at 5.30pm (interesting to see who will fork out 15 quid for that one!). Leeds and Wolves complete our GW at 8pm.
The games in full…

Martinez. Good 9 points there.
Guys, how about KDB +Podence for Son + Rodriguez?
For a hit though.
Go for it!
Yep think so. Does depend on KDB news a bit
+1
On 80 pts with Jimi and Saiss to go…have not seen the like of this in ages
Brilliant score Bees
Nice one Bees :good:
76 here with Jimi and Saiss to play too. Have to say, pleased since I wildcarded before GW4. The only worry is that happened exactly the same time last year and around Christmas all went pear shaped. Let’s hope this doesn’t happen again.
Fingers crossed Ivan. It is one crazy season so far.
Excellent!
Great score, my gw is average yet again. 58 with Jimenez left
I benched Podence and Saiss for Mitchell and Brewster :slaphead:
Fair to say my gamble didn’t pay off :laugh2:
I expect big things from Wolves tomorrow just to rub it in!
Great score btw! :good:
:good: well done!
I know there is a lot of people on here that don’t advocate a hit or two but a mini success story! I took a -12 this week (I know, shocking!). KDB, Fernandes, TAA and Mendy (Lei) all out and Sterling, Son, Chilwell and Rodriguez in.
Had I stuck with my original team I would have been 4 points worse off this week. I’m also now happier with the balance of my team!
Brilliant when it pays off! Fair play Ivy!
Yeah I completely agree, I was lucky it paid off. Definitely not advocating it every week! But happier I’ve got a decent midfield of Sterling, Salah, Son and JRod without having Mendy and Bissouma as my 4th and 5th mids!
Good for you Igy! It is early in the season, so a hit to strengthen overall not a bad thing. You were brave though.
Also moved on a coupe of price rises and falls which I’m hoping the team value will be helpful later in the season. Small gains here and there!
Hey people. All good?
All good, dude! What about you?
So so. 😉 Lot going on. My mom doing a covid test Tuesday and she’s 67, so that’s a worry. I’m in semi-lockdown myself since a colleague did a test past Saturday and he will get results tomorrow. So no teaching tomorrow.
Fingers crossed everybody is ok Raz.
That’s rough! My partner and I were in self isolation as well…she had her results yesterday. Thankfully, they were negative! I hope yours and your mother’s are negative as well.
Fingers crossed, mate!
Yeah, I’ve been very careful, as has she. Hope she’s alright. Don’t fear for myself.
I’ve got the exact money to do Mitrović -> Kane (thanks to KDB’s cash). Will Kane go up tonight, and I should do the move now? Rest of the team is below.
Should be ok for a couple of days. He went up last night
Thanks, I’ll keep an eye out!
Should be ok for tonight. It’s sods law that if you do it now he’ll get injured on Thursday and if you don’t the price will go up Weds night. :punish:
Sometimes I really wish Spurs had a decent 2nd striker to remove some of the pressure for him! I’ll probably make the switch before the game and keep an eye on the LASK game from behind the sofa!
