Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 5
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 5.
Back to reality. Or at least some semblance of it. We kick off on Saturday lunchtime with the title decider between Everton and Liverpool at 12.30pm.
The (new look) Soccer Saturday have been snookered again with just the one 3pm game to get their politically correct teeth into as Chelsea welcome Southampton.
Man City and Arsenal face off in the ‘tea-time’ game at 5.30pm
Newcastle and Man United see us out on Saturday at 8pm.
Sunday sees four games with Sheffield United and Fulham getting us under way at 12pm, followed by Palace and Brighton at 2pm, Spurs and West Ham at 4.30pm with Leicester and Villa in the late slot at 7.15pm.
We then have two games on Monday again with West Brom and Burnley at 5.30pm (interesting to see who will fork out 15 quid for that one!). Leeds and Wolves complete our GW at 8pm.
The games in full…

Any advice on what to do here? My main concerns are double pool def but robbo has had a few attacking returns and not sure if getting rid of TAA is wise as he is in most teams and could hurt me if he finds form, plus decent couple of fixtures. I think my main concern is ramsdale. Is it worth using a transfer on him and if so who for?
You look reasonably set up there. Martinez is the keeper to own I feel. Davis to Watkins maybe
Or Burke to Barkley
Currently on a WC. Any glaring issues or players I should consider.
Not really. Looks good to me. Might as well take a 4.4 mid I think in Stephens
Good point thanks
Your team’s coming along well but I’m not convinced Bamford as a long term FPL asset, I personally wouldn’t include him on a WC (though if he scores 3 tonight that could change  ). I’d consider upgrading him to Wilson or Maupay by downgrading one of your defenders, clean sheets have been rare this season so the money could be better invested in attack.
Castagne would be the one I’d sacrifice, he’s scored a point each in his last two and his next few fixtures aren’t good. Maybe for Lamptey or a wolves defender?
Haha good thoughts. Yeah I don’t want to be stuck with a miss firing forward. Not sure what to make of Leicester this season
Apparently there is rumours that D. Costa may be coming back to Chelsea!
Truly hate him but still think that it would be awesome! He’s entertaining at least!
I wish
Wich three would you play this weekend?
Belle, Lamp, Mitch (the castagne as first sub, mr chills well as 2nd).
I would play Bellerin, Lamptey and Chilwell. Maybe Castagne instead of Chilwell if Vardy is fit. Look for attacking returns rather than CS if you ask me.
2, 4 and 5. I think Mitchell will start or not play at all.
I’d play Lamptey, Bellerin and Castagne. That does look a bit weird I must admit though and it’s a toss up for different reasons
Thanks all!
Your opinions made it even harder to pick!
West Bromwich Albion v Burnley
Karlan Grant (Ex Town) starts for West Brom. Not even listed on F.p.l yet !!
Hat trick!
Hope he does well, his goals helped keep us in the championship last season !
Hey all, another crap week here. Thinking Vardy > Kane is my move this weekend. To afford it, should I move Foden to a 5.8 mid (Jorginho, McGinn,Klich etc) or drop TAA to any def under 6.8?
Whats your team Colriles ?
Ryan, walton
TAA, Justin, Mitchell, KWP, Vinagre
Salah, Son, Bruno, Foden, Soucek
DCL, Vardy, Mitro
How about Mitro to Brewster Vardy to Kane and play Soucek this gw then try and upgrade him at some point with the spare cash.
+1
Foden to ASM?
