Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 5
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 5. We can but hope that this article doesn’t come as a surprise to you on a Friday evening and that you aren’t currently sat there thinking “either they’ve made a big mistake, or I’ve made an even bigger one!”. Well, we haven’t, and we are really sorry if you did!
The game-week begins with yet another uninspiring televised clash, as Bournemouth host Brighton on Friday night. Not one that many people will be hurriedly cancelling Friday night plans for then. If you do feel so compelled though you can always rearrange those plans for about 12:30pm on Saturday to coincide with the next woeful TV offering – Crystal palace vs Southampton. Seriously, we pay good money for this stuff. Add those to last week’s run of Burnley vs Palace / Swansea vs Newcastle / West Ham vs Huddersfield, and with the greatest of respect to the teams involved there can anyone ever recall a worse run of 5 televised games?!
Deep breaths.
Onto Saturday’s 3pm fare then, and we have five games, many of which will hold a fantasy football interest –
Huddersfield will hope to improve on their poor showing on Monday night as they host Leicester.
Liverpool, sans Mane, have a potentially plum home game with a Burnley team who traditionally don’t travel that well.
Newcastle and Stoke may hold more interest in the handshake shenanigans than any on the field activities.
Watford, having had a strong start, will look to test a potentially vulnerable Man City back line in what may be a very entertaining fixture, perhaps not so much if you own defenders from either side.
West Brom and West Ham may have the antidote to the above though, just in case you get over excited.
Saturday evening returns us to the television and at least this time there is some semi entertainment as Spurs will be looking for a first PL win at Wembley against an ailing Swansea
Sunday does finally bring some strong games back to the big screen. Arsenal host Chelsea in the early one and then Man United play Everton in the late one to bring our game-week to a close.

Get Davies on ffs !!
Kane please do something
I have Kane captain – I also have Naughton. I Think I’d prefer a Naughton goal and CS
Yeah I have Naughton to come on for Stephens so silver lining and all that.Nobody to come on for Davies though !!
United drop Blind and they draw 2-2 with Stoke, Spurs drop Davies and they can’t score against Swansea…that left back spot is very important
Davies has been playing out of his skin and offers Spurs another dimension going forward. This is why Spurs and Liverpool aren’t serious title contenders.
Is he injured because it’s bizarre seeing Trippier at LWB
Not sure mate but it’s backfired !
Without fail my WC team always scores worse than I would have if I didn’t play it…
22 points atm for my wc team. Only once this season has any of my mf scored over 3 points. Concidering playing 5-2-3 soon
To be fair I think most of us will be doing terrible this week!
So Brady had an assist…….then he didn’t.. …..now he has again !! Bizarre but not complaining !!!
17 points from 9.hehe.
Kane failing to deliver yet again. He’s out. I remember this exactly from last year. After I dropped Kane and Allison. They went on a rampage.
I can’t believe I pressed wildcard button tho. Lol.
Especially since I have zero time this week to look at squad. Hehe
Funny, how Carroll got his revenge versus Spuds.
Nothing much left to say or do. Hope you guys did better.
Aaaah yes? Which sites are best for price rises?
Allison who ? Hmmm Spurs seem to perform better away from Wembley…..apart from in champions league ! Gonna give him a few more games though with those fixtures !
25 here with Carroll to come on for 2 – Davies, Stephens and Long in the squad.
DDg, Mkhi, Lukaku and Morata to go
