Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 6
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 6.
Friday night fixture gets this gameweek rolling and what better to get us going then watching Saints let in a couple of goals into the Bournemouth boys that we no longer own.
That is followed by 5 games on Saturday. The early game pits two not good enough teams, one is not good enough for fourth (Leicester) and the other (Spurs) is not good enough to compete for a title. Three fixtures come around at 3pm with the Barnes mini train vs the massive Pukki train facing off. We also see Everton take on Sheffield and City’s Otamendi pass the ball to Hornets in front of goal. The late game needs deleting, but our guess is that they will play it anyway. Toon vs Brighton, there we said it.
Sunday gives us a somewhat unusual four fixtures, as in more games than usual, not as weird. The two early matches pits a surprising Palace side against an also surprising Wolves side albeit for different reasons, as Wolverhampton finds themselves with only 3 points so far. The Hammers take on Ole’s United in the other early game. The two late encounters has the two clowns at centreback who play for Arsenal entertaining Aston Villa, while first place Liverpool go to Stamford Bridge and score five when Lampard decides his team can play straight up against the champions to be.
The games in full…

Going to wildcard this week and have already made some early changes because of price rises. What are your thoughts on this team ?
If you’re worried about price change VVD may be a risk? perhaps consider matip and salah?
Really like your frontline – went WC myself but could not balance my team with them :/
Thanks for the comments OddDane, would love VVD to be TAA but can’t find a way to fund the move. Going without salah and sterling is always a risk but like the other players you can afford to bring in with them not there
Hey guys. Do I need to WC here? How to get KDB?
if you dont want do a straight swap (i.e. son/sterling/salah to KDB) then out mings&digne and in KDB+4.7Def (Tomori, Soy,pieters, etc etc.)?
mings=mcginn, sorry :scratch_one-s_head:
Good night everyone! Been out the whole day and only now will I be able to scroll back today’s activity here. Meanwhile, I need to WC my team.
What do you think of these teams and which do you prefer?
The main difference is that one has Soyoncu, Sterling, Tielemans and Wilson and the other has Trent, KDB, Cantwell and Vardy.
I need to go ahead tonight because both are very tight money wise.
Cheers
I like the 2nd as it is really close to a diff. team I was considering
I’d probably consider robbo to ota/ricardo and vardy to firmino as I dont like to double def same teams – or it could fund an upgrade of cantwell to i.e. tiele or mount (if ota)?
Agree with OddDane 2nd one but lose double Pool defence and do Vardy to Firmino! Aurier is another replacement option which would give you an extra 0.5 over Otamendi to upgrade a mid such as Hayden
Second one for me and agree with OddDane’s comments.
Hi people! Hope you’ve all seen green arrows this weekend!
Could I get some transfer advice if anyone still up and about please.
Was decided on Zinchenko/Ceballos/Haller to Rico/Mount/Wilson …gonna cost -8 but think it’ll pay back. Was then thinking Digne to Mendy next week.
I’m now thinking take an extra hit (-12) and do the above but with Zinchenko to Otamendi and Digne to Aurier ….know it’s a lot of hits but don’t mind taking a few early season to capitalise team value and think the players I’m left with will make it back …especially with next weeks fixtures.
What do you think?
Cheers
Would leave me with this
Well I’m convinced to take a -8 for my team this week as well so I’m not exactly going to tell you not to take any hits.
I guess you could avoid Haller to Wilson move. Bournemouth aren’t good defensively and I expect him to come good(I have Haller as well)
Rest of the moves make sense imo and that’s one spectacular team you get in the end.
Take a -8 and avoid doing the Haller transfer would be my suggestion
Thanks Kunal! Yeah I do like the look of the team I’m left with after the hits, feels almost set and forget and hit avoiding for the season ….saying that I thought that after my WC and the hits I’ve taken since
You’re right though Bou v whm could go either way so I’ll do the rest and leave that 1 for the moment…all moves will leave me 0itb so will only do if price changes force my hand :good:
