Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 6.

Friday night fixture gets this gameweek rolling and what better to get us going then watching Saints let in a couple of goals into the Bournemouth boys that we no longer own.

That is followed by 5 games on Saturday. The early game pits two not good enough teams, one is not good enough for fourth (Leicester) and the other (Spurs) is not good enough to compete for a title. Three fixtures come around at 3pm with the Barnes mini train vs the massive Pukki train facing off. We also see Everton take on Sheffield and City’s Otamendi pass the ball to Hornets in front of goal. The late game needs deleting, but our guess is that they will play it anyway. Toon vs Brighton, there we said it.

Sunday gives us a somewhat unusual four fixtures, as in more games than usual, not as weird. The two early matches pits a surprising Palace side against an also surprising Wolves side albeit for different reasons, as Wolverhampton finds themselves with only 3 points so far. The Hammers take on Ole’s United in the other early game. The two late encounters has the two clowns at centreback who play for Arsenal entertaining Aston Villa, while first place Liverpool go to Stamford Bridge and score five when Lampard decides his team can play straight up against the champions to be.

The games in full…

  1. So Auba to step in as my captain tomorrow, least I had KDB. Now to go pray I put Lundstram 1st on my bench.

    Oh, bye bye Digne.

  2. Lundstram top points scorer of defenders thus far, who would have thought in GW1, a 4.0m defender smile

    • Did wanb not do the same last season. How long will it last is the question?

    • Question is, do you play him vs Liverpool next week?

  3. Can someone try and calm be down? So close to shipping sterling…..

    • Chill mate

    • Don’t.

Take a look at what he has ahead.

    • I am calm but I am considering it too! Not because he was benched but because I think this will be a recurring thing and don’t want his price sitting on my bench. Would rather have an 8 mil player benched rather than an 11 mil player

      • I don’t think it will be a recurring thing, it wasn’t last year either, he played surprisingly much last season and will no doubt play this season too, last season he played 0mins in GW5 or 6 too and then went on to score great!! I am not even thinking of getting rid, it will backfire so likely!

      • I don’t remember too much of last season when it comes to fantasy mate but I’ll take your word for it haha!

    • Don’t!!! Sterling will score big very soon!!

    • So mixed views here.. hes on his last legs, him to kdb is so so tempting thought!

I’ll hold off one last week

      • Yeah, but didn’t KDB sit last time out? It’s the same drill as the last two years with City mids: buy the one (s) you fancy and stick with them. I mean that even works with the Silvas and with Mahrez it seems. The only reason to sell Sterling for KDB is the price difference and whether or not using that money elsewhere compensates the likely gap between Sterling and KDB come may.

  4. So people – what’s flavour of the weekend? Who’s the must have trade for GW7? Sorry just a joke – just saw the 2nd half demolition of the Hornets and kinda disappointed – had Kun capo, Zinch & Sterlo both out – AND am facing a 3rd one tomorrow with D James! What happens? My bench is Ayew, Rico & Dendo in that order. I say ‘bollocks’! I’m probably gonna get ripped off over a substitution. Anyway, at least there’s hope! Cheerio!

  5. Thought I had made a masterstroke this week by selling Zinchenko to Pieters, keeping Periera and capping KdB! Unfortunately I forgot until I just checked that I instead sold Periera and kept Zinchenko… at least I did in fact cap KdB! Looks like Cantwell and Dendoncker will come off my bench for Sterling and Zinchenko. I’m going to sell the latter this week!

Early thoughts though… does selling Sterling to Bilva so I can upgrade Dendoncker or Jota sound crazy?

    • Sterling could play next week and Bernardo is rested. That’s the wicked game.

      • Yeah that’s what I know will happen but like I say above feels better to have an 8 mil player benched rather than an 11 mil player. I don’t think I’ll do it but it makes the team look nice.

    • No, with City rotation the play is to commit to a player and keep them for long term, and especially not to sell when someone has just been rested, it means he will play in the subsequent games!

  6. You know whats going to happen, we are all going to sell Sterling and then scramble to get him back as soon we’ve sold him. 😉
