Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 6
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 6.
Friday night fixture gets this gameweek rolling and what better to get us going then watching Saints let in a couple of goals into the Bournemouth boys that we no longer own.
That is followed by 5 games on Saturday. The early game pits two not good enough teams, one is not good enough for fourth (Leicester) and the other (Spurs) is not good enough to compete for a title. Three fixtures come around at 3pm with the Barnes mini train vs the massive Pukki train facing off. We also see Everton take on Sheffield and City’s Otamendi pass the ball to Hornets in front of goal. The late game needs deleting, but our guess is that they will play it anyway. Toon vs Brighton, there we said it.
Sunday gives us a somewhat unusual four fixtures, as in more games than usual, not as weird. The two early matches pits a surprising Palace side against an also surprising Wolves side albeit for different reasons, as Wolverhampton finds themselves with only 3 points so far. The Hammers take on Ole’s United in the other early game. The two late encounters has the two clowns at centreback who play for Arsenal entertaining Aston Villa, while first place Liverpool go to Stamford Bridge and score five when Lampard decides his team can play straight up against the champions to be.
The games in full…

Price Changes – Sunday morning, i think there will be some happy owners and some not so quick to the party!
Risers! De Bruyne (9.9), Cantwell (5.0), Abraham (7.4), H.Wilson (6.1)
Fallers! Lacazette (9.3), Murray (5.7), N.Mendy (4.4), Origi (5.3), M.Aarons (4.4), Mariappa (4.3), Ruddy (4.4), Roberto (4.4), Murphy (4.8)
Morning any early ideas for this lot. One free transfer with nothing in the bank. I’d like Auba in maybe not this week but have been struggling on a wildcard draft with him.
A) Wildcard
B) Mount (if fit) and Soyuncu in for Ceballos and Zinchenko. Could then bring in Mendy for Digne later depending on form/fitness
C) Otamendi in for Zinchenko
D) Anything else
Morning! Personally I Would prioritize Zinchenko-Ota since he’s minutes will be a big question now. I’m starting to have bit of doubt for Sterling, are you planning to keep him?
Yeah Zinchenko is the problem I think he needs to go. Ceballos is also a problem but will see how he gets on today. As for Sterling it’s prob one of those things. He’s had his rest now he’s not likely to be rested again for a while and it could be anyone at any time
Similar team and similar question for me. I will sell zinchenko and probably bring in otamendi if nothing happens in the matches today…
My team
Yeah looks more straightforward to you I think because you have Mount already. Looks better than mine as well
Morning smash, I did C last night!
Yeah have to admit that could happen tonight
Snap I did C last night plus brought in KDB & Abraham for Stirling & Ayew
Don’t forget League Cup games this week.
Could b v good clue to the following weekend.
I’d say if Zinc starts midweek he won’t play in the League. City’s defensive options are down to the bone (Pep subbed 3 def’s in an hour yday, so he knows he has to keep his main def’s wrapped in cotton wool)!
This is true it’s mainly reserves though. I’m also less worried about early transfers when I have a wildcard
Hey Smash. I’m looking to sell Zinc too but I’d actually move away from City altogether. They aren’t looking the most solid and they are rotating them like crazy.
Yeah there is that. Do you prefer B that brings in Mount and solves the Ceballos problem who I’m not expecting much from today
Yeah I’m looking at Soyuncu. I’m kicking myself I sold Periera last week instead of Zinc but oh well. I would definitely get rid of Ceballos he’s basically a glorified DM.
Yeah exactly he needs to go
How about this for a half way turnaround – I have Sterling and Zinchenco bench replaced by Lunstram (12pts) and Rico (5pts) and KDB taking over as captain, so another 17pts – Total 34pts WOW !!!! Any better ?
nice one colonial. I have Lunds coming off bench so happy enough with that
Same as you but replace Rico with Dunk … 35 points…yay!
Morning
So what’s everyone’s plans for GW7?
Prob need to figure out a way to get KDB and Tammy in. You Mitro?
Did Zinchenko to Otamendi last night – tempted to do PEA to Tammy with my other FT!
Hi Mitro,
Why drop PEA? I know that move would give you some £, but with Laca out for a few weeks and Arsenal’s fixtures turning (Utd likely to concede, Bmth at home, S Utd away, Palace and Wolves at home, Leics away, Sth home, Nor away, Bha home……..) I think PEA could have a great run – mind I did just bring him on my WC, so I’m biased!

Yeah I do t get ditching Auba I’d like to have him in. I seem to be 0.2 or 0.3 ish short with having him on a wildcard
What would you do with the extra cash?
Probably zinchenko to otamendi. But I also have to decide who to play out of these 3…
Possibly Sterling > Mane so l can get City coverage at the back – probably Ota.
My wildcard seems to have worked well so far, though I know a WC is not all about one week.
KDB came in for Sterling.
Allowed me to bring in Otamendi :good: Son :good: Digne 😯
As part of WC I dropped Kane for PEA so have to wait on that one, but also dropped King :dash: for Abraham And Robbo to TAA.
I also dropped Lundstram for Rico (just on the basis that looking at his fixtures he would have been my 3rd sub for the next 4/5 weeks), c’est la vie.
Had a guy in my mini league who had Bilva, Ota and KDB :biggun:
Cheers

Here is a crazy notion. Why would Sterling come straight back in to the City team?
Probably
I know he prob will. But not like Mahrez was poor n if sterling looked tired , maybe he gets a couple games off
There’s a fine balance between rest and losing match sharpness.
If he played no part in the Everton game next Saturday I’d be very surprised.
Do u expect him to start GP?
Enjoying the rugby :hippo:
Sterling – probably.
Rugby – blow the whistle already!
