Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 6.

Friday night fixture gets this gameweek rolling and what better to get us going then watching Saints let in a couple of goals into the Bournemouth boys that we no longer own.

That is followed by 5 games on Saturday. The early game pits two not good enough teams, one is not good enough for fourth (Leicester) and the other (Spurs) is not good enough to compete for a title. Three fixtures come around at 3pm with the Barnes mini train vs the massive Pukki train facing off. We also see Everton take on Sheffield and City’s Otamendi pass the ball to Hornets in front of goal. The late game needs deleting, but our guess is that they will play it anyway. Toon vs Brighton, there we said it.

Sunday gives us a somewhat unusual four fixtures, as in more games than usual, not as weird. The two early matches pits a surprising Palace side against an also surprising Wolves side albeit for different reasons, as Wolverhampton finds themselves with only 3 points so far. The Hammers take on Ole’s United in the other early game. The two late encounters has the two clowns at centreback who play for Arsenal entertaining Aston Villa, while first place Liverpool go to Stamford Bridge and score five when Lampard decides his team can play straight up against the champions to be.

The games in full…

  1. Just planning ahead , Sterling + Digne ->> Mane + Otamendi for -4 worth it? Not sure if Digne will get any/negative pts out of the game against Citeh

    • coys

Re: Sterling – see my point on the previous page – I say keep him until at least the Liverpool game.

Digne – yeah I think he’ll be leaving my squad this week more to do with the team he is with rather than the player himself.

At this stage, Digne to Otamendi on its own for you I think.

      • Hey GP. Thanks for the inputs but I wouldn’t mind doing Digne to Otamendi on it’s on if the game allows 4 city players :laugh2:

        • Haha! I didn’t clock that!

So …. it’s still Digne for me but I wouldn’t lose Sterling to get Otamendi for him personally.

See how Chelsea line up today – I see you have Tomori but the run of games Chelsea have, it may be that another is a shout. Failing that Spurs have three decent games coming up which could give you a bit of breathing space to see if anything settles down defence-wise.

        • Yeah will keep a lookout for tonight’s game. Would give Spurs a pass at moment as we seem to be conceding too many shots/chances for my liking. smile

    • That’s a nice team. I don’t like those moves

      • Cheers Smash. Will put that thot in my back pocket for now smile

    • Absolutely not

  2. Two pretty different options here.

    A) simply just zinchenko to Otamendi

    B) Zinchenko to Lundstram and then greenwood to Wood if it seems like he has started to score on a regular basis…

    • I like as much money in the first team as possible. I think the second option gives a benching headache.

      • Every now and then maybe. Even if lundstram is the highest scoring defender right now i still think that he’s a player that should be rotated….

  3. Crystal Palace v Wolves

  4. West Ham United v Manchester United

  5. Sighs. I really need one of these players not to play: VVD (impossible), Ceballos (unlikely), Salah (impossible) and Abraham (very unlikely unless his hammy…?). If one drops, I get Lundstram with 12 points coming off of my bench. Damn, which I placed him ahead of Rico. It is what it is.

I’ll be at peace if all play though. IT is what it is. Hehe. I like this gameweek even though I took a hit and even though bloody Kun failed me in an 8 goal match.

    • Ps. I saw a lot of people complaining about Sterling… But in the end it should have worked out pretty well for everyone since he didn’t play at all. Now your vice is important. I think for many it was KdB, which means a megascore…. Bloody L… mids doing what Kun can’t. :big-lol:
