Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 6. Choo choo, all aboard the Kun train… Best hope he starts then or there will be fantasy managers throwing themselves under it at about one minute past 2pm today! Quite why a hat-trick last week indicates another one imminently we aren’t sure but let’s see what happens. It’s a bit of a strange FPL week as we actually have 8 games today (Saturday), and then just the 1 on both Sunday and Monday.
We begin with a London derby as West Ham host Spurs at lunchtime, in what has in recent past been a title decider.
3pm gets busy then with no less than 6 games on the go with the likes of Chelsea, Man City and Man United all featuring.
Saturday is rounded off with Liverpool visiting Leicester.
Sunday’s lonely game sees Brighton host Newcastle at 4pm. And sees the Toon fans getting home on Monday morning at some point, if they are lucky. Wonderful planning from the PL again!
We close the week out with Arsenal hosting West Brom at 8pm on Monday.

Thinking of Jesus -> Morata? And don’t know abt the other FT had plan of Wc’ing during 2nd Intnl break so don’t know how to use the other FT? Also if I use 1 and save 1 and wc next week would I get 2 FT’s after the wc week?

Depending on how the Goonies look on Monday, I think I’d be tempted by Jesus to Lacasete or Vardy for the few weeks. Morata has City next up. Not gonna bag a hatrick in that one.
I’m not sure whether or not you’ll come out of a WC with 2 FTs if you carry them going in.

Chins mid doesn’t offer much value this year as compared to last and expensive defenders also have been okish, hell I get good points from my 4.5 defenders so think will want to invest in premium strikers

Fair enough SnookieBear, but the suggestion wasn’t about saving money. For next week at least (maybe longer) I think Vardy or Lacasete could get more points than Morata.

I’m on 60 with 3 Rafa’s men and Monreal to play, 1 of the better gw I’ve enjoyed so far. Though I had to take a hit to cut loose Stephens.
Wondering which gw would be a more logical week to activate WC, putting injury concern aside

Shawn, many managers have traditionally used their WC in one of the early International breaks. I think this is because they tried to play the price changes and nick an extra 0.1mln here and there.
However, with price changes seemingly slower and wildcards not affecting price changes this seems less of a realistic dream.
So it really does depend on the state of your team, injuries, form and fixtures.

Hey Smash, I think you’re right to hold. After that possibly Luk to Morata to give you some cash to invest elsewhere.
Bottom line you are somewhat hamstrung by the 3 big forwards.

Thanks Cookie. Davies and Cedric have let me down recently. God knows why I picked Francis. Yeah think your right about Morata maybe instead of Lukaku in a few weeks. Possibly could do Pogba as well when he’s back. Loftus Cheek seems very close to scoring each week but has just not happened

Firminio is a concern too, but a shift to Luk or Kane would destroy the balance.

Davies owners can’t moan about his returns. Missed out last week with a knock. Yesterday was a shame but keeping a clean sheet in a competitive London derby where Spurs generally struggle was always going to be tough.
The only worthwhile Bournemouth defender is Daniels for his attacking returns but I’d also struggle to justify him due to their lack of clean sheets.
Maybe look to a Burnley dude with a good rotation with another cheapie?
