It’s another four day GW as we begin Halloween weekend on Friday evening, fittingly with the Wolves howling against the Eagles. Don’t worry we won’t continue the theme any longer…

Saturday sees just the 3 games with Sheffield United welcoming Pep and his lack of strikers at lunchtime. Just the one 3pm game again (Jeff will be turning in his grave) as Chelsea visit Burnley. Saturday finishes with Klopp and his lack of defenders hosting West Ham.

Sunday begins with Villa vs Southampton at 12pm, followed by Newcastle vs Everton at 2pm, Man Utd vs Arsenal at 4.30pm and ends with Thelma & Louise vs Brighton at 7.15pm.

On Monday the PL will again push our patience by asking for 15 quid to watch Fulham and West Brom at 5.30pm before our GW draws to a close with Leeds hosting Leicester at 8pm.

  1. So I have Lamptey coming in. Third on the bench but Mitchell and Saiss were no shows. About time I got some luck

    • I was going to comment on your proposed moves – I think you have / had 2FT.

      At first it looked like any attempt to make 2 FTs with your side had a slight flavour of self-harm (in that your side seemed ok to me), but I imagine you must be pondering moving Fernandes out?

      I have no idea how Man U got on today other than knowing they lost.

      • Yeah I have no real idea what to do other than moving Saiss on. Bruno is fine for now I’m not considering ditching him. It’s Saiss, TAA and Watkins I’m more unhappy with

    • I had Mitchell and Pulisic no shows, so not enough to get Lamptey who was third on my bench as well… If only there were two defenders for me who didn’t feature… Oh dear… Well I have Anguissa coming on, he can still outscore Lamptey :bop:

        • That’s what I am scared from Middy.
          Last season I did my WC at the exactly same time, before GW4, had a great run for about 8 weeks, up to Christmas.
          Then, everything collapsed. Will try to avoid this.

    • 44 points for me. I genuinely don’t know what to do anymore. Whatever I try – it backfires. I keep telling myself that everything will come back to some sort of normality, eventually, but after 7 GWs, I might need to accept the facts – I just suck :laugh2:

      • Tornado when the fantasy gremlins get hold it can be very frustrating, keep at it mucker, take the best advice here , its always the panic sell or buy that gets us mostly in trouble, keep the faith and I am sure luck will find you soon :suicide: lol

        • Cheers, mate! Fingers crossed but I had to deal with so many injuries, illnesses, rotations, captaincy fails, VAR issues, etc. that I don’t remember what luck is :laugh2:

  5. How did Kane end up so far out of the BPS? Can’t moan about a captain return but a tad disappointed! I get hung up on “technically” should’ve captained Salah… but know I can’t think like that.

  6. Evening all, what are your thoughts on my planned wildcard team? Plan would be to go Kane and Bruno to Sterling / KDB and Vardy in about two weeks’ time when Man City and Leicester then have some nice fixtures. Your thoughts would be much appreciated!

      I think I’d go for KDB ahead of Bruno from now actually.

      The defence is a bit seat of the pants. Zouma and Gabriel or Bellerin would be handy.

      Rodriguez would be the downgrade I think.

    • If you are wild carding I think you should get Sterling/KDB right now or keep money ITB for direct swap with someone. It will be difficult to make planned transfers with the amount of injuries and forced changes in couple of weeks.

    • How is your current side looking?
      Was just thinking it might/could be worthwhile holding another week so you can WC for the int’l break.
