It’s another four day GW as we begin Halloween weekend on Friday evening, fittingly with the Wolves howling against the Eagles. Don’t worry we won’t continue the theme any longer…

Saturday sees just the 3 games with Sheffield United welcoming Pep and his lack of strikers at lunchtime. Just the one 3pm game again (Jeff will be turning in his grave) as Chelsea visit Burnley. Saturday finishes with Klopp and his lack of defenders hosting West Ham.

Sunday begins with Villa vs Southampton at 12pm, followed by Newcastle vs Everton at 2pm, Man Utd vs Arsenal at 4.30pm and ends with Thelma & Louise vs Brighton at 7.15pm.

On Monday the PL will again push our patience by asking for 15 quid to watch Fulham and West Brom at 5.30pm before our GW draws to a close with Leeds hosting Leicester at 8pm.

  1. Which of these two teams are the better option? With Werner or with Bamford?

      • My eyesight is going…this is with Rodriguez, other one without.

        • Bees, I prefer the one with Werner in it. That said let’s see what Bamford does tonight and was it worth the mass hysteria for millions to get him :blink:

    • Hey Bees this is a tough one but I think I prefer team one just slightly.

        • Personally more attracted to the second one, with a stronger Midfield, and the possibility (if Leeds and ‘The Bamf’, keep it up) of providing good results from the forwards. This is just my opinion. Hope you find an answer. JRod is certainly a more useful element than Bissouma, and maybe Bamf can keep his end up (no rude jokes here!) compared to Werner. smile

  3. Afternoon/Evening everyone. Decided to hit the WC button. What do you all think of this first draft?

    I have a few ideas on changes but wanted to get first impressions from you fine folks first!

    • Solid team. Good defense. Not the greatest fan of Zaha, but that is just me.

      • Cheers Bees. The ideas I have for changes actually has Zaha gone. Could then use the money to upgrade elsewhere. What would you do with that Zaha money? And who would you replace Zaha with?

        Want to see if you mention any of my ideas so I know I’m not that crazy!

        • Replace Zaha with 4.5 and upgrade Brewster to Bamford, Wilson?

    • Looks good.

    • Think a third solid striker might be a better choice. Surely Wilson/Mitro/Bamford can score more than Zaha?

  5. Early thoughts on what to do here? 1FT 0.0ITB
    1) Just bank and hope Ings is back after the IB.
    2) Ings to Kane and TAA to 4.9 def (who?).
    3) Ings and Jimenez to Kane and Bamford.
    4) Ings to Wilson.

    • Or 5. Ings to Werner and TAA to Chilwell.

      • SF, wait for more news. It’s been said that the scan went well and no major problem. He could be back Saturday for the home game against Newcastle.

    • I’d hold off till later in the week anyway but I would vote for number 2 right now

    • 3 but I’d hold off just in case on Ings but he surely won’t be fit

  6. OK, 2 FT and 1.0 ITB
    If I downgrade TAA to a proper defender at around 5.0 will have enough money to upgrade Mendy or Neto to Rodriguez.
    Or, should I prioritise Saiss exit before anything else :scratch_one-s_head:

    • Tricky you may only have 1 playing defender. You could wait 1 week for Rodriguez and just use 1FT on the defence.

      • Yeah, might just get a replacement for Saiss and rollover the FT.

        • Hi Ivan, TAA to Chilwell could work out well.
          Would appreciate your comments on my team options above 145?

      • Thanks Smash, Bellerin crossed my mind too. The upcoming fixtures are mixed bag as the ones for Chelsea but he can do the job for 5.0
