It’s another four day GW as we begin Halloween weekend on Friday evening, fittingly with the Wolves howling against the Eagles. Don’t worry we won’t continue the theme any longer…

Saturday sees just the 3 games with Sheffield United welcoming Pep and his lack of strikers at lunchtime. Just the one 3pm game again (Jeff will be turning in his grave) as Chelsea visit Burnley. Saturday finishes with Klopp and his lack of defenders hosting West Ham.

Sunday begins with Villa vs Southampton at 12pm, followed by Newcastle vs Everton at 2pm, Man Utd vs Arsenal at 4.30pm and ends with Thelma & Louise vs Brighton at 7.15pm.

On Monday the PL will again push our patience by asking for 15 quid to watch Fulham and West Brom at 5.30pm before our GW draws to a close with Leeds hosting Leicester at 8pm.

  1. I had Barnes for 4 weeks. He blanked in all 4 of them. I sold him this week – his “upgrade” Rashford blanked and Barnes scored. #I’mKillingIt :punish: :fool:

    • Was a knock. Touch and go with him and PVA but I’d expect him to come back in after their defending last game

  3. What’s the deal with Saiss? Has he lost his place in the team? If so it seems very harsh after his start this season.

    • Wolves fans have been calling for him to be dropped for ages. He’s not great. I have him and feel he needs to go

      • Interesting. I guess I’ve only really been looking at his attacking returns. Might swap for Bellerin then. Before this week I was looking at Cresswell, but Bellerin is getting in some great positions in a good looking Arsenal side.

  4. I’m clueless here so I’ll post again. Two free transfers and 0.2 in bank. Does Antonio stand any chance this week?
    A) Coufal and Grealish for Saiss and Foden
    B) Bellerin in for Saiss
    C) Chilwell and Bellerin in for Saiss and TAA. Allows cash for Brewster and Grealish in for Watkins and Anguissa next week.
    D) Coufal, Dallas and Werner in for Watkins, TAA and Saiss
    E) I don’t know what I’m talking about

    • For me its between A and C. I’d probably favour C

      Bellerin for Saiss (based on your opinion of Saiss) and save a free transfer to have two after the internationals.

    • I like B, which is what I am going to do myself this week.
      Roll the FT as with these midweek games we never know when it will be needed.

    • I’d say Foden is probably the biggest issue, he just can’t be relied on for gametime given how much pep rotates. I also don’t think a hit is needed ruling out D. I’d lean to A as it’s the most boring which is normally best

    • Smash, how about Mings or even Konsa for Saiss?
      Villa have great fixtures after this week all the way up to Boxing Day.
      Wish I could do it but shot myself in the foot having Martinez and Steer plus Grealish.

    • Wilson maybe with an eye on Rodriguez to KDB or Sterling.

    • I was probably going with Werner, but am reconsidering as I will Ziyech and Zouma.
      Vardy is Golden Boot boy and who is going to deny him this year? Never a dull moment.

  6. Who are worthwhile TAA replacements that have good upcoming games? I already have Justin/KWP/Kilman/Bernado at the moment.

    • Chilwell or Zouma…CHE are looking good. Or Bellerin.

      • I have 2 ft, and looking at going a bit mad and doing a 4ph on the following:
        TAA->Bellerin(undecided)
        Sterling->Rodriguez (if fit), or Grealish
        Davis->Vardy
        stupid idea?

        • I don’t think it a bad idea. May go for Jimi to Vardy myself. Getting rid of Robertson for Zouma. You are doing well Hammer.

        • I may go for Zouma… will mull it over the next few days. Undecided on whether Rodriguez or Grealish. People in my ML have have both Grealish and Rodriguez. Grealish does have the better fixtures after the weekend, andis slightly cheaper. The only annoyance is having to ship out Sterling, and deciding who to bench out of Soucek and Podence each week.
          But Vardy needs to come in to give me extra points up front.

      Chelsea worth shopping at I’d say for now.

      You’ll make up places in your ML later in the season. I’ve stopped bothering to check mine. Still too early.

        As for the Sterling replacement – Grealish or Rodriguez?
