Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 7. Your last chance for some FPL points before we go off again on another pointless international break and all your star players get to globe trot like carbon emissions are a thing of the past. GW7 spans just Saturday and Sunday this time and we begin with Spurs on the road (that’s good Spurs then) as they go to Huddersfield at lunchtime. We then have five 3pm kick-offs. None of which look particularly exciting if we are being totally honest! Man United hosting Palace may be for those who captained Lukaku, but then again who didn’t! Hence the lack of excitement…

The best game on Saturday (in theory) is being kept back until the evening and sees the current champs Chelsea host the probable next ones Man City. Or so it seems. You could probably have said the same this time last season. And been proven very wrong. Which makes it just the more intriguing this time.

Sunday is a veritable feast, at least compared to last week! Arsenal host Brighton in the early game, Koeman will hope that Niasse can keep him in a job a week longer in the 2.15pm one and then we round the week off with Liverpool going to Newcastle and the TV companies flogging the possibility of another 4-3 classic. Monkeys and typewriters and all that…

  1. I have decided to take an 16 to 20 point hit to sort my team out is this mental or not , I’m a bit f—ked but I’m going for it 😉

    • Silvers, don’t do that mate. Its just a wrong captain choice for this week. Would have added 10 points straight to the tally. A very good squar you have. I’ll stick with Soton and Leicester guys as they have very good fixtures ahead. May be check on Lukaku as Morata has form and fixtures both, given he’s OK to play after the gap.

      • What is up with Morata how bad is he ??? I’m going for it Constantine just need a change 😉

        • Don’t think that its that bad Silvers. He’d be back after the break most probably.

        • I never trust hamstring injuries. Assume he wont and its a bonus if he is

        • Rough day yesterday it was good to see so many people talk me out of pressing the button but I still might do it yes

          My moves would have been
          Luk , Eriksen, Wimmer & Cedric out for Morata Silva Alzpil & Tripper for a 16 point hit as I had already made one I’m still contemplating it in the light of day

  4. I managed 66 points with 9 players today.

    Monreal and Lacazette tomorrow at home to Brighton.

    League tables starting to update…460 points with a seventh consecutive green arrow and now up to 1,940 overall.

    Best position ever.

    • Well done Jamie, that’s an awesome rank! I’m just inside the top 30k with 433 points with Coutinho to play tomorrow! My best overall position was around 18k a few years ago but I can’t remember a better start to the season! And now I’ve probably gone a jinxed it!

        Hit my captain in all seven game weeks which help enormously.

        Don’t know how top of the rankings does it every (or most) weeks.

        Still got all my chips which I assume have been played by many managers.

    • Nice one Jamie! Still with a couple to play too! smile My projected rank got as low as 2k today, but then a few goals went against me and I’ve ended up 26k. I’ve still got Lacazette, Salah, Ritchie & Gross to go, so hoping to get a bit closer to you! Good luck for tomorrow, and the rest of the season.

  5. 77 points with Kolasinac, Bellerin and Laca to play. Hopefully move inside the top 10k by the end of the week!

    • That’s top notch.. I am sitting on 56 with just Grob to play. So I am sorry but I hope he spoils yours CS. But if almost bet my house on laca getting a brace. Shame I picked morata over him….

    • Nice going.My second team is outperforming my first again and I literally spend 5 mins a week looking at it !

    • Cheers Brooky odd really not even got Kane or any Che cover still have 3 left to play Laz , Firmino & Mee I don’t spend half the time looking at it but I just use it to experiment couple of things that seem to work pick the cheapest way into the top three def teams at start then two cheap ones on fixtures & leave them 😉
