Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 7. Your last chance for some FPL points before we go off again on another pointless international break and all your star players get to globe trot like carbon emissions are a thing of the past. GW7 spans just Saturday and Sunday this time and we begin with Spurs on the road (that’s good Spurs then) as they go to Huddersfield at lunchtime. We then have five 3pm kick-offs. None of which look particularly exciting if we are being totally honest! Man United hosting Palace may be for those who captained Lukaku, but then again who didn’t! Hence the lack of excitement…
The best game on Saturday (in theory) is being kept back until the evening and sees the current champs Chelsea host the probable next ones Man City. Or so it seems. You could probably have said the same this time last season. And been proven very wrong. Which makes it just the more intriguing this time.
Sunday is a veritable feast, at least compared to last week! Arsenal host Brighton in the early game, Koeman will hope that Niasse can keep him in a job a week longer in the 2.15pm one and then we round the week off with Liverpool going to Newcastle and the TV companies flogging the possibility of another 4-3 classic. People take silly little -4’s all the time for players they don’t need or for small punts. Kane will keep killing you gradually each week until you do it…
Got money to turn lukaku to Kane and morata to jesus…..madness?
I’d take Kane over Lukaku. I’d prefer both though! My preferred front 3 right now would be Kane, Lukaku and Jesus. Think that’s what I’ll have come next week myself. Any way of getting to that in 2 weeks?

That’d work but you need Morata fit first too.
In my opinion, unless wild card activated then no-one should be doing a transfer until after the double header international break.
Too many (top) players travelling all over Europe / South America running the risk of injury / fatigue.
So what if you may lose £0.1m on a player.
Stick until a week on Friday.

I do not think that is good advice, I activated my WC on Saturday and a number of my transfers in have already increased 0.1 ( 4 in fact) and more to come in next 24 hrs too. If there are injuries etc after the international break I can still make changes?

Probably not, you’d imagine. Heard a very good point on H&J today and that was simply that the blokes not used to starting so many games. He started 3 big games in a week prior to this happening. They need to be careful with this one. You’d hope they’d have learnt from Costa’s own hammy issues.

So many unknowns when it comes to injuries this past couple of gameweeks. My gamble of keeping Jones paid off last week. This week I’ve got rid of Morata early (because of price changes) and am hoping the injury is indeed going to keep him out of the Palace game.
If things turn out otherwise and I pick up a few more injuries over the intl break, I might be tempted to use my Free Hit (wildcard already gone), so here’s a question – if I activate my Free Hit late in the day, do I claim back the -4 hit I’ve already taken for ordinary transfers? I know you do with a wildcard, but not sure if the same applies with the Free Hit? Couldn’t find the explanation in the rules.
