Six Saturday games this gameweek with Brighton and Spurs getting us going with a lunch time affair. That fixture is followed by four 3pm games. Burnley plays host to Everton, league leaders Liverpool take on Leicester, Norwich tangle with Villa and Watford play Sheffield. In the late game we see West Ham play host to Crystal Palace.
Sunday brings us four more fixtures. Arsenal welcome in Bournemouth, City dismantle Wolves and Southampton battle it out with Chelsea. In the late game we see a Championship preview when Newcastle plays versus Manchester United.

Does this team need a WC? I still like the look of it but it just hasn’t been performing.
The double liverpool defence hasn’t really worked.
Digne has been disappointing.
Salah flagged and has been a bit hit and miss at times.
Part of me does want to stick at it as I feel it might come good but I know the IB is a great time to wildcard.
That team doesn’t need a WC mate. This will be a low scoring week in general, I wouldn’t panic.
I’ve had a low scoring season so far! But yeah part of me does feel it would be a panicky WC. Cheers :good:

Is the pukki hype over? Time to move on to more consistent players such as Wilson or vardy or can he still deliver decent returns
I think I’m going to stick with him for now. Norwich have a ridiculous amount of injuries and I reckon he’ll hit form again when a few of them are back.
I’m selling him. They lost 5-1 at home to Villa FFS.
My current thought with only one free transfer and 0.6mln in the bank is a short term switch to Josh King before probably going for Vardy in a few weeks.

Yah, I could do that. It was fun up until this point. Now thinking about teamvalue but teamvalue is irrelevant. What we do is pretty irrelevant. Hehe. But the break… forgot… is it an international break? I guess so. So the Dutch team will play. hmm.

Life kind of sucks at the moment. As I told yall before, I’m slowly going blind. Feels like the sword of Damocles is above my head.
I picked up a new study a few years ago to become a secondary school teacher or highschool…whatever it is called. Now it feels like my future has been robbed from me.
Been pretty strong about everything so far but it all sort of sucks. I’m feeling depleted. Slowly emptying.

Thanks mate. I know. I have been very upbeat, meaning that I have dealt very well with it all. But at times it is very demoralizing. Good and bad days. Most things in life you endure, you feel it can make you stronger. Losing my sight is not one of them. It sort of sucks. But anything can happen in life, so live by the day. And yeah, I’ll continue what I have been doing and I’ll finish it. I already was a teacher but I will be at a different school now. It’s just, everything seems to be going ten times as hard, at the moment.
Anyway, I am trying to stay positive. This was probably the most depressing message I send since I got the diagnosis. Hehe.
Well make sure you don’t bottle it all up. There’s loads of people out there who will want to help.

I have know many people in the forces that have had serious injuries go on to achieve there goals just stay positive as much as you can and remember to talk to your family & friends if your feeling low I’m sure they are all there for you

Hi Raz, not been around long but lm sorry to hear that bud. I had a friend who lost his full sight but does have partial sight. This was a while ago. You’d be amazed at how much support is out there for blind people. You will always be you! In the darkness there is always light.

Yah, had the diagnosis a few months ago, in the summer. It’s the type of news that either hits you directly or comes in slow. In my case, I guess it is slowly entering me. I returned to life as if nothing happened. But slowly shit gets to you. Going blind is actually one of my biggest fears… the not seeing anything.
Already not allowed to ever drive anymore because my periphery sight is gone.
Still working, studying and doing all sorts of shit. But not relaxing or chilling. So, sometimes, it gets to you. Hehe. Like today, tonight.
Life goes on. I’ll carry on. Just it’s all very weird. An uncomfortable feeling.
I’m so sorry mate, I can’t even imagine having to handle something like that so hats off to you for handling it so well. Life can be pretty shitty at times, I know it’s a lame thing to say but if there is anything I or anyone else can do now or in the future just ask and I’m sure I speak for many people here who will step up as and when so that we keep you as an important part of this community :good:

Hey Raz. I don’t know if this is of any help but I taught in second education for years. It got too much for me so it started looking around for other work. I now tutor one to one with what we can in the UK Looked After Children (children in care) and children with Special Educational Needs dyslexia, dyscalculia autism etc It is a job which you don’t need periphery vision for. I am sure there must be jobs like this in the Nederlands too. There are all sort of jobs in education don’t give up. All the best mate.
Tnx people. Yeah, I will figure out what I can do once I turn fully blind. Maybe stuff with speech.Tutoring. Don’t know. The most gratifying thing in life is that you can be there for others and you can help others. I know that these roles will turn at some point in your life, but I wasn’t expecting it to be so soon.
As for treatments, there are none yet. There is something experimental, where they inject a virus directly into your eyes. So my retina makes certain proteins it doesn’t now. It’s just that though, experimental. In my country only 2 people have had that treatment, and they are still waiting on the results.
Think my sight needs to be below the 30 percent or something for me to be even considered to take part in that experimental treatment. I guess I will find the right support and people to talk to at some point. But currently the hospital has kept me waiting for a few months. Because I can still see and stuff, and it’s more a waiting game, I find it hard and confrontational to be talking to completely blind people.
There is also a big difference between being born a certain way and getting something later in your life. Even though my eyesight is bad now, I can’t imagine how it is to see compleet blackness all day, every day. Meh, means can’t both yall with posts anymore. 😉
Anyways, we’ll see what the future holds for me. For now, trying to stay strong. Keep working, studying. In survival/beast mode. But even a beast can break at times. Hehe. 😉

WC worthy?? Need KDB back in. Had got him out for one week for Mahrez. Hope the move pays back. Any faith in Spurs players still? They play Watford next though. So, players that I need out:
Pukki, Robbo(too much for a no-CS def), Pope, Mahrez, Son, Greenwood. Have already done Salah to Mane.
So you sold KdB to want him straight back while at the same time not liking half your squad?!
I’d wait for a more up to date report on KdB before doing anything.

Pope just got 7 points? Not sure what more you can expect from a 4.5m. I wish I had kept Robbo or TAA. Can you actually buy KDB back? Or are you short?
In a word, no. I think this is one of those weeks that test your resolve about your strategies. Stick to your guns, whatever they are. No ideia why you made a move already though. That’s the kind of move that leads to mistakes and to play a WC when it’s not needed.

There are 4-5 concerns that I see.
Pukki is not doing well. Son could be replaced. Salah an’t doing any good plus liverpool fixtures in coming few gws not good.
Van dijk is doing shite & Digne could be easily replaced by Lei Defender.
You could do a wc or do progressive changes.

See a lot of people asking this question.All depends on your personal situation,your approach to the game and how your team is doing rank wise.I spunked mine gw2 and although im pretty happy with my team right now i wish i had held it.Some of your players have good fixtures next gw but now could be a great time to attack Chelsea’s and Leicesters fixtures and triple up on both,bring Aubamayang in or Wilson or even triple up on City mids !
