Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 8.

Six Saturday games this gameweek with Brighton and Spurs getting us going with a lunch time affair. That fixture is followed by four 3pm games. Burnley plays host to Everton, league leaders Liverpool take on Leicester, Norwich tangle with Villa and Watford play Sheffield. In the late game we see West Ham play host to Crystal Palace.

Sunday brings us four more fixtures. Arsenal welcome in Bournemouth, City dismantle Wolves and Southampton battle it out with Chelsea. In the late game we see a Championship preview when Newcastle plays versus Manchester United.

    • Yeah have to admit I want him just think I might have more pressing issues though

    • Would almost certainly be in on a WC team.

      • Not a bad idea for a second playing keeper if there is a spare cash. The trouble is he doesn’t rotate well with neither Pope nor Ryan.

      • Must be the 187 who traded him in as soon as the GW started and before he got injured which was all of 8 minutes into the Gameweek. Must’ve been hard on them.

    • No way. The Spurs defence looked broken even with Lloris in goal.

    • No. They’ve kept just one clean sheet and conceded 12 goals!

    • Mount I will have triple Chelsea soon enough

    Bit the bullet and have wildcarded!!! Any suggestions for the lineup?

    Looking at maybe swapping Aubameyang to Aguero if I can scrounge a spare milly (Laca coming back)?

    Any advice or notes pls?

    • Auba is on 7 goals, there is no way he is getting benched even if Laca comes back. Saka or other will be benched and Auba can/will play on wing (and will still score)

      • Auba will get rotated at some point that’s Emery. Emery probably rotates more than Pep. He will also get shunted out to the LW. This does not mean though he’s a bad option he’s still a great option

        • I somehow feel the major rotation with Auba wont start anytime soon. With Arsenal in 3rd I feel Emery would reserve Auba for the PL games and save him from the smaller games in Europa or League Cup. Probably once they cross the group stages of Europa or the later stages of the League Cup he might be more of a risk?
          Just my thinking on when that “some point” would be.
          Thoughts?
