Sign of the times. Top 4 players to drop in price tonight are all Man Utd!!!
I’m working through various team setups and I think I have found a template with only modest fraud from TBF – still worried about rotation but this should give me 1-2 city players each week – reckon it is worth is 😎 :good: :mosking:
Haha love it! No Jesus though #peproulette
I’d try to squeeze Ederson in there too somehow. Else you’re good to go
#Jealous
City can’t score since they played watford and Liverpool can’t keep a cs so replace those guys. Apart from that I LOVE this team…
You make some good points gents, duly noted! :good:
It was either this or a full Villains lineup with mcgovern back and connolly up front cappin’ it… oh lord the horror of FPL so far – good with a bit of break 😉
Super early thoughts and I won’t pull the trigger yet but there’s a lot floating around in my mind FPL wise and I’m desperate for a green arrow…
I have 1 FT and 1.4m
The main thing holding me back at the moment (apart from poor captain choice…) is not having Mount. I am also concerned that the Pukki party may be over.
However, 1.4m gives me limited options…I am short of a straight Cantwell to Mount swap.
Similarly I am short of a straight Pukki to Vardy swap.
So… what options does that leave me with? What should I prioritise?
1) Ota to Dunk. Cantwell to Mount (-4). Leaves a little in the bank which could turn Pukki into a punt on Jimenez or King but not much else…
I would have to do Ota to a 4.0m in order to afford Pukki to Wilson
2) Forget Mount… bring in Wilson for Pukki straight away. Or Ota to Dunk and bring in Vardy (-4).
This option means playing Cantwell…
3) Give up on Aubameyang! Do Auba to Vardy with the option or doing Cantwell to Mount (-4) or Pukki to Wilson (-4) or just waiting a week to do one of those for free. Seems like a hard decision with Aubas fixtures though.
Am I missing anything obvious?
I thought WC but you have done that already. Too many fires to put out. Best of luck with any of those options you have thought of!!
I’ve read that about 6 times and I’m still confused :wink2:
I’d leave Auba in I think. I’d probably also persist with Pukki for a game or two, see what happens.
Wilson in for Pukki might work. Though how about Hudson-Odoi straight in for Cantwell
Thanks! Those are interesting options actually and I could feasibly do both over a couple of weeks with an Otamendi downgrade in their too.
I guess it all depends on how important having Mount will be. The route to getting him in my team requires keeping Pukki, Otamendi to Dunk and a -4.
Think that boils down to:
Wilson and Hudson-Odoi
Or
Pukki and Mount
Wilson and CHO without doubt
Wilson and CHO
No fears over CHO minutes?
No not really he’s the best Chelsea young player. Plus RLC is not far away now which will threaten Mount’s minutes but I can’t see Mount coming out of the team. Chelsea have options in Midfield which is what I’m saying
And you mean CHO is further up /out wide?
He’s playing in the Hazard position from last year basically.
I don’t see the need for a hit though? Just take out Cantwell for CHO, let Pukki score his last goal of the season and swap him for Cilson next round? easy does it 😉
Yep exactly that OddDane.
Question would boil down to what would be a better 1 week combo.
I feel like Wilson will score against a leaky Norwich and Cantwell might well be involved if pukki did score?
Agree, but Bournemouth isn’t exactly collecting clean sheets either so could go either way – of the two Pukki seems the more likely to yield points and of Cant v CHO the latter seems the superior choice whereas Pukki v CW seems like a more even comparison no?
I think it is time to transfer pukki out for some reasonable players.
If you dont have tammy already I’d go for him. 0.7 more but seem more consistent.
Hello all,
After a little advice. Currently have 2ft’s, was thinking Salah and James for Mane and Maddison. Thoughts? Would like to be rid of Pukki but cant find a better replacement and cant stretch to Wilson.
Hey Dicky, this feels a strange ask!
Usually, if I want to replace a specific player (Pukki) with another specific player (Wilson) then that is the focus of my moves either over 1 or several weeks. The ideal scenario is to have 2 FT’s (which you have), I would never then simply abandon that plan and move other players as you will likely still want to replace Pukki with Wilson but drag yourself even further from the move! Why not either do the Salah move to mane and Pukki to Wilson or downgrade James and get Wilson that way?
Whilst I would like to be rid of Pukki, I feel James is a more pressing need. I was just really saying Wilson seems the best viable option, but to me maybe James to Maddison is a much better upgrade?
Maddison for meif you’re able to save a transfer next week
Hopefully KdB and Salah will be back. Maybe wait till we get more news on the 2 next week.
If they are. James for Maddison and give the Norwich guys another week.
Again Pukkis price fall has to be monitored
How does this look for a WC team?
Constantine,
In the whole I like it though I’m sure I’d take Vardy over Son given Leicester’s fixtures and Spurs horrendous form.
Cheers Cookie. Trying one more gamble against Watford. Might change him by the end of IB.
Captain Pukki didn’t work out though. :explode:
Show me a capo that did work last week apart from Mane!
Mount/ Tammy were a decent distant capo option…
I’d take Vardy over Son, Gazanigga over Pope and prob a Burnley defender over Mings
I wouldn’t touch Gazzaniga personally- firstly Spurs are a state, secondly he will need replacing at some point and thirdly Pope has done nothing wring and picks up points with or without keeping a cs.
Yeah I don’t really agree. But we will see. Pope has not really done anything wrong but he’s not getting the saves. Spurs yeah are struggling but some of the goals conceded have been from Lloris errors. They are still likely to be a top 6 side and he’s only 4.4 which makes him very cheap. He might need replacing at some point but that’s a long way down the line if and when Lloris returns
Completely agree. I’d rather buy the real Gazza and put him in goal!
Hey Smash. Think Gazza won’t bring many CSs. But agree on Mings. Villa aren’t keeping many of those either.
Would do Vardy/Firmino/Haller up front
out Mings & Dunk in def for two of Boly/Tomori/Lowton/Tierney
and mid I’d do Son out for Mount/Maddison/5-5m mid depending on your other choices (Noble/Jorgh/Ndidi/Ghazi/etc)
Jimenez also an interesting option methinks
