Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 8

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 8 and there’s no bigger match in English football to get us under way as Man Utd visit Liverpool. Five 3pm matches follow as Burnley host West Ham, pointless Palace welcome the posh boys of Chelsea, free scoring Man City host Stoke, Bournemouth are this week’s visitors to Wembley, as they try and stop the HurriKane, and the prize for the dullest game of the day goes to Swansea vs Huddersfield. Early evening sees the Gooners make the short trip to Watford. Two matches follow on Sunday – first up struggling Everton get a day by the seaside as they go to Brighton before Southampton welcome Newcastle further along the coast. The Premier League has decided to treat us a 3-day game-week and our Monday Night Football sees Leicester hosting West Brom.

  1. Okaaayy..

    1ft no money.
So where do we start with this lot.
    Anyone got any jump leads.

    • hey Bigs, I cant well say a couple of posts back to not take hits and then flip – but hell, you are making it hard.

Sit on it. Assume/Hope Fellaini cant drop much and play Carroll. Cant see Martina playing. Maybe play Mbemba over Mee (will likely start or not come on at all.

      Ramsey should play next week.

    • You know what mate id start taking calculated gambles.A few hits but nothing stupid. With your rank you have nothing to lose.Lukaku to Jesus,Ramsey to Sterling and wait on the presser for Morata. You can dig your way out of this and have some fun at the same time !!

  2. Official average is 33.

    • So Init, you’re saying I’m above average?! You’re too sweet! smile

      • Hey Pancho… We are playing H2h against each other on division 3. A point difference with 3 players to go for each of us! Exciting times !

        • Glad to see your enjoying the H2H neel.

        • Neel it has been a close one! It looks like I may end up nicking it just with needing 1 point each from Simpson and Vardy. A red card for one of them would make it pretty interesting though smile
GL every week after this one lol

  3. Just seen Jesus on match of the day… Is Kun definitely worth the extra 1 million?

    • That is something im asking myself. In between kicking myself for taking him out for Lukaku at the last min on wc.Going to stop over thinking this game !

      • Not overthinking Brooky mate. You picked Luk because of Jesus’ probable rotation risk.

      • I happily have Kun or Jesus, it just comes down to who’ll get more minutes. It seems, when both fit, Kun gets more. But predicting Pep is impossible. If Kun’s gonna get the extra 25 mins a game then he’s worth the extra 1 million IMO. If they end up getting the same minutes then I think I’d settle for Jesus.

        • Evening banjo

          I think either will
Suffice as long as you have a couple of city midfielders

        • Hmmm… I think I might stick with Laca & Hazard to Kun & Sterling. It just feels a bit nicer having Kun. That also leaves funds to bring in Morata for Vardy. Things would be much easier if one of em got injured!!!

  4. Anyone considering Tammy Abraham ?

    • He’s certainly on the watch list. I’m currently leaning towards sticking with 3 premium forwards, but if someone like Hazard/Sanchez starts firing he could be a great enabler.

    • I know of somebody that brought him in on wc.Along with Jesus Silva and Eriksen

    • Leicester, Arsenal and Burnley in next 4. He is a quality player but he has tough defences to score against coming up. Id stay cautious and stick with my 3rd man Joselu for now, who has Palace and Bournemouth in next 3 GWs.

  5. Morning guys! Would it be overkill to have 3 attacking City players? Already with Silva & Jesus. Tempted to take out Salah for Sane/Sterling.

    • Wont drop Salah. He is Liverpool’s best attacking player.

      • He’s not exactly cheap and miss too many chances…

    • I like Salah he looks like scoring big every week

      • Yes he does and hope he doesn’t until gw10

  6. My team really sucks this year can’t seem to get any points ever. I have my wild card but some of my players have an ok game this week

    • Looks a solid team for gw9

    • Depends if Davies is fit for next weekend but Mikki to Sterling seems a no brainer despite Uniteds fixture.Mikki has been poor last few games.

      • Possibly I always think Sterling will lose his place but he keeps racking up the points

        • Not sure how he gets dropped after yesterday.Think all City players face possible rotation, best just to pick your poison and ride the rollercoaster. One thing is for sure double or even City attack seems a must.

        • *Triple

        • It’s getting to the stage where it don’t really matter if they get rotated with the amount of goals they are scoring

        • Exactly mate.Sick with myself that i didnt stick with triple City attack on my wc.

        • I’ve no City cover!!!!!!!

        • Kop… get some City cover if you do nothing else this week hahha

        • Don’t worry Matt I will

        • Haha good man!

        • Well I get no points lol with City cover
