Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 8 and there’s no bigger match in English football to get us under way as Man Utd visit Liverpool. Five 3pm matches follow as Burnley host West Ham, pointless Palace welcome the posh boys of Chelsea, free scoring Man City host Stoke, Bournemouth are this week’s visitors to Wembley, as they try and stop the HurriKane, and the prize for the dullest game of the day goes to Swansea vs Huddersfield. Early evening sees the Gooners make the short trip to Watford. Two matches follow on Sunday – first up struggling Everton get a day by the seaside as they go to Brighton before Southampton welcome Newcastle further along the coast. The Premier League has decided to treat us a 3-day game-week and our Monday Night Football sees Leicester hosting West Brom.

  1. Hi guys,
    I have a reasonable 57 points this GW with nobody left to play.
    I made a bit of a cockup during the break, Morata got injured, so I transferred Hazard in and made him captain, safe to say that didnt end well
    Now Im really considering just cutting my loses and just selling him, getting in De Bruyne.
    Please advise?

      I have a chance of winning MoM at work and my nearest rival has him so ideally I would like the following to happen.

      Yellow card – 2min
      Own goal – 5 min
      Red card – 6min

    I want to triple up on city attack and bring in either Jesus or Kun but it will be at the expense of either Lukaku or Kane, which one should I get rid of?

    • If you can afford it I’d ditch Lukaku and keep Kane.

        Yes I can afford that move

        • I think Lukaku’s been pretty lucky to get 7 goals so far this season. They’ve nearly all been last minute tap ins when they’re already 3-0 up. Whereas Kane’s been unlucky not to score more than 6. Plus Spurs will always be more attacking than United under the current managers. Does it alter whether you get Kun or Jesus though?

        • Getting in Jesus would leave me £1m ITB where as Kun would leave me £0.2m ITB. That million could be used in a few weeks to bring in hazard for eriksen if he starts performing.

          Having Kun would make me sleep better at night though…..

        • I’m in a similar predicament, and almost certain I’m gonna opt for Kun.

    • Lukaku. Which one are you buying?

      • Who would you go for?

        • I’d go Aguero so that means Jesus will prob score more

        • Straight choice assuming both play I’d go Kun.

        • Team would look awesome with Kun!

        • I would be concerned about your defense! Mbemba and Hunimeirer not playing, Foster now injured, options getting thin!

        • Don’t worry mate I remember a few weeks last season when I was playing with 10 men! 😉

  6. On 44 pts with Vardy still in play. I need a solid think about my team my front 3 so for have got me 8 points including a captain in their lol
