Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 8 and there’s no bigger match in English football to get us under way as Man Utd visit Liverpool. Five 3pm matches follow as Burnley host West Ham, pointless Palace welcome the posh boys of Chelsea, free scoring Man City host Stoke, Bournemouth are this week’s visitors to Wembley, as they try and stop the HurriKane, and the prize for the dullest game of the day goes to Swansea vs Huddersfield. Early evening sees the Gooners make the short trip to Watford. Two matches follow on Sunday – first up struggling Everton get a day by the seaside as they go to Brighton before Southampton welcome Newcastle further along the coast. The Premier League has decided to treat us a 3-day game-week and our Monday Night Football sees Leicester hosting West Brom.

West Brom bring absolutely nothing to this league. They get a free kick with minutes to go against a shite Leicester and they put one guy in the box and keep a back six ‘just in case’. They’ve gotta be the most boring side to ever grace the premier league.

They usually bring GMac but even that fun has gone now! Couldn’t agree more. Certainly can’t think of one. I’d hate to pay for a season ticket knowing that’s what you’re going to watch every week. But they’ll stay up and that’s what his MO is I suppose.

That aside, Leicester are looking pretty poor right now. Laca & Vardy to Kun & Morata for a -8 is very tempting!

Probably very wise too! Assuming both show signs of life in midweek of course. Pep said before that Kun is now fine and had an excellent training session.

Just so that everyone is aware of what we intend to do this week. We have a new article for tomorrow from Mastermind on the CL game. That’ll be up mid morning until those games conclude tomorrow night and then we shall jump straight into Capos for GW9 with Rosco at 10pm. Fixtures and Tips is combining given the short GW (Friday deadline this week). That’ll be up Wednesday night. Site Team will be up Thursday night as usual (expect a WC in that one!). And then Team News / Predicted Liberty-Ups will appear on Friday afternoon at some point. And then Live Match Chat once the deadline approaches on Friday.

Only 4 CS this week.
7 was the min prior to this week with average of at least 8 CS each week.
Are there any stats to suggest the number of CS reduces as the season goes, or does the opposite happen?

Haha smash it’s really a case of reading all the articles, listening to what other people say and then make your own decisions. I got lucky 2 weeks back and played my free hit and played my WC last GW. How are you traveling smash?

It’s pretty awful for me so far. Mixture of being unlucky and poor choices I think. Jones move potentially makes sense as does saving the transfer
