Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 9
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 9. We are back from another International break and the gameweek kicks off with Toon hosting Chelsea in a lunchtime affair. That is followed by three more fixtures, all spread out of course, as is the new norm. Villa tangle with Brighton and after that we see Spurs take on City. The day comes to an end with Manchester United welcoming in West Brom.
Sunday brings us four more games. The day starts with Fulham taking on Everton. The Blades then play host to The Hammers, which is followed by Bielsa’s pupils facing off against Arteta’s boys. Those were all the appetizers though as the best fixture was left for last with Liverpool’s U12’s (or whatever they have left fit) facing off versus first place Leicester.
Monday gives us the last two fixtures. Burnley take on Palace and Wolves close out the gameweek when they encounter Saints.
The games in full…

Son goal
Nice finish
Yea let’s all get rid of son cuz of his tough fixtures :big-lol:
I figured the same. They want to show it versus harder opposition.
True Raz
I also think if you’re a good player then fixtures don’t matter?
Depends on a lot of factors. Form of the player and team also matter. But it never came to mind to replace him for this game. In all honesty, because of taa and salah problems it was never an issue. But City don’t have the best defensive record, so they?
8 Captain blanks out of 9.
Unbelievable
Would beat Smash’ previous season record.
Very hard going man, rest of the team looks ok. Hopefully the rest score for you
Sorry mate. Picking Jack was quite a ballsy move. Beforehand you could’ve known it would be all our nothing. He’s class, but his team is still midtable at most.
Park the bus,Jose.
Hmm? Was B dropped from the site? He was being really nice…
He just disappeared
Sure…
Feels like Russia in here. :dunce:
The site is more pleasant already!
Bring me some Russian ladies and I’d agree. Even Olga would do. :big_boss:
I don’t know what happened before but he can be harsh. B that is. However, without him feels empty. Lol. But I get it. You guys are quite patient, in general.
Heard the Russian ladies are great at cooking, Raz. Problem is that you have to constantly buy them expensive jewelry and stuff to keep them happy.
Hehe. Cooking is important. Yeah they’re more old fashioned.
Still prefer that over social justice warriors and certain feminists.
Spot on Tekno, wth the word ‘pleasant’. That’s the atmosphere we have strived to create on here from day 1. And generally speaking it is. In fact it almost always is. It’s a pastime and supposed be somewhere enjoyable to go. And I’ll uphold that always. Trolls can, as Elle would say, do one.
Manchester United v West Bromwich Albion
All the usual divers are there and Captain Bruno is present to convert their pens. Let’s go
Can we hope for the baggies to win 3-2, with Fernandes grabbing two penalties?!!
I wouldn’t be opposed to that, although it’s highly unlikely!
As long as he beats Ziyech’s 3 points for Mito :hippo:
If Mau Utd win they will move above Man City.
So who would you rather bring in this week, Kane, KDB or Kun? Fixtures say KDB, but then again he could be rested. Form says Kane, but fixtures are poor or are they?
Kane
City have easy fixtures. Spurs have tough fixtures. However, I might hold both Son & Kane, and ignore KdB!!
I am thinking the same. Spurs have Arsenal at home in GW 11.
Back in July, in the same fixture Son had a goal and an assist.
Would you be at all surprised to go into any Spurs fixture and find one or other involved in a few goals? I wouldn’t. I’d just hold. Perhaps even to the point of saying they are now just set and forget. Or at least until Kane does his ankle again!
I think you’re right about them being ‘set & forget’.
That said, I think City will attract a lot of attention being at home against Burnley.
I already have Cancelo and with 4.5 ITB might treat myself with Jimi↔Kun move before the rush.
