Saturday lasts for about 7 hours with Chelsea v Sunderland and Newcastle v Fulham at 3pm, Man Utd v Brighton at 5.30pm and then finally Brentford v Liverpool at 8pm.

Sunday has 4 games crammed in at 2pm; Arsenal v Crystal Palace, Aston Villa v Man City, Bournemouth v Forest and Wolves v Burnley. Before Everton and Spurs round the GW off at 4.30pm.

The games in full…

  1. Anyone watching the Pool game? I see they are 1-0 down yet again.. Crazy. How are they playing?

  2. In all honesty, is it really time to ditch Salah?
    I have 2ft, 0.1m itb
Not doing anything yet because of the cup games.
But thinking Salah ->mbuemo and maybe upgrade a goalie.
    Any early thoughts?

    • Saka Sarr Semenyo would be my first choice for transfer.
      GK not so important.

    • I did Kudos to Mbeuno as it’s a straight swap as they are the same price.

I don’t know what to do with Salah, I still have him (my updated team in comment 19) I don’t know who to replace him with other than Saka, I would let Rice go though.

I have said this a couple of times, I have no idea what is wrong at Liverpool, other then they have too many players to try and fit in and keep happy, and if anyone is going to kickstart the team it’s going to be Salah surely?

If you sell Salah, can you do Salah > Semenyo and Baleba > Mbeuno and play 352?

      • Semenyo has two tough games after next GW but after that they have a great run of games.

      • I will look into those moves terminators and let you know

      • I can do these 2 transfers you mentioned.
It will leave me with 3m itb

        • That would be enough for Reijnders > Gakpo? so you have Liverpool cover, or Barry > Ekitiké? The latter you could rotate with Reijnders to play 343 depending on who Man City and Liverpool are playing.

As bad a Liverpool are my concern is not having anyone from Liverpool, Salah is over priced for the points he’s getting, for my team I cannot see how much I can improve with the funds he’ll raise for me, but you could get Semenyo, Mbeuno and Gakpo, these are the moves I would make, you can wait to do Reijnders > Gakpo next GW so you don’t take a hit.

I took a 4pt hit to do the two moves yesterday because of price rises/drops but you can wait.

The issue you have is that you have Haaland already as well as Salah, but there is no obvious swap to make other than Saka or Palmer, and for many seasons Salah should be listed as a FWD.

        • Sarr and Marteta are others to consider for attacking Palace players as Bees393 mentioned.

Maybe in place of (Reijnders >)Gakpo / Ekitiké?

It depends on your preference, I am not a fan of rotating my players, by way of keeping a good player on the bench for another, because whoever I bench always outscores the playing player, it depends on how you play the game.

        • You make a good point. Reminders has been a bit quiet lately, and having Pool cover in either Gakpo or Ekitike would be a good idea. Gakpo might be the better option for return.
Will wait to avoid a 4ph.
I need to sort out the Barry problem if I need to use BB some time

  3. What a howler to get in a player from a team who is in horrible form, Gakpo instead of mbuemo.

  4. I was looking at stats and AFCON years haven’t been Salah’s best. Might be time for me to let him go too.

  5. Had it not been for some last minute winners earlier in the season, liverpool would have been in the relegation zone now.

  6. Salah majestic goal.

    • Yes but an occasional 5 or 6 pointer for 14.5m doesn’t justify the price.
