Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 9. We get started early with our FPL weekend with a Friday match up of West Ham’s Jose ‘2 point’ Hernandez vs that guy with the weird B or double ss, Groß from Brighton. Saturday then sees the struggling champions Chelsea facing off against the surprising Hornets. Five 3pm games follow that lunch time affair. Huddersfield host the ‘scared of Liverpool’ Manchester United, City go for 10 goals vs Burnley, Newcastle takes on Hodgson and all his memes, Stoke show their face vs Bournemouth and Swansea tangle with the Shakespeare-less Leicester. Sunday brings a conclusion to GW9 with Everton and their soon to be sacked Koeman versus the will never be sacked Wenger and his castrated XI. That is followed by the best fixture on paper when future Real Madrid star Harry Kane trolls his GW8 FPL captaincy backers by scoring a brace vs Liverpool in what hopefully is end to end stuff.

  3. Any early thoughts what to do here. 0.3 in the bank and one free transfer. I have my wild card and really not sure whether to use it or not.

    • Hey Smash, I see no need to WC just yet.. team looks good… I’d probably sort out Long and get Mariappa. Unless you’re thinking about downsizing that strike force..

      • Yeah that’s not a bad shout. Suttner is a concern. I can’t really stand Ritchie and presume Sterling will play next game. Downgrade up top would be Morata for Lukaku but Morata did not look great today so maybe not over hamstring issues

        • Ritchie has been pretty reliable.. another assist today, plays all the minutes, on some set pieces. I’d sort out either Suttner or Long to make sure you’ve got at least 4 active defenders. I think Loftus-Cheek and Sterling will both start next weekend. In fact, I like that midfield quite a bit.

    • Smash..i hvae activated mine.. But that was more to adjust Aguero in the team. Made about 11 changes.

      • The issues that i see in your team are LFC(Surman with better value there), Ritchie, Suttner, Francis, Foster, Long, gametime of Sterling and high value less return of Lukaku..can sort them out with a WC

        • Thanks Constantine. Pretty much nailed it there. Cedric and Davies are ok currently but they will need replacing in the next 2 weeks as well.
