Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 9

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 9. We get started early with our FPL weekend with a Friday match up of West Ham’s Jose ‘2 point’ Hernandez vs that guy with the weird B or double ss, Groß from Brighton. Saturday then sees the struggling champions Chelsea facing off against the surprising Hornets. Five 3pm games follow that lunch time affair. Huddersfield host the ‘scared of Liverpool’ Manchester United, City go for 10 goals vs Burnley, Newcastle takes on Hodgson and all his memes, Stoke show their face vs Bournemouth and Swansea tangle with the Shakespeare-less Leicester. Sunday brings a conclusion to GW9 with Everton and their soon to be sacked Koeman versus the will never be sacked Wenger and his castrated XI. That is followed by the best fixture on paper when future Real Madrid star Harry Kane trolls his GW8 FPL captaincy backers by scoring a brace vs Liverpool in what hopefully is end to end stuff.

i thought i was clever by bringing in kun and captaining him…when all i had to do was keep the captaincy on kane…danggit!

Good afternoon. It seems I’ve finally got lucky! Sterling (c) looked stupid at 2pm yesterday, hopeful at 5pm after he didn’t get substituted on, now brilliant with Kane (vc) ready to step in.

Looks like I’m on for 60+ points. Just wish I had Kane captain instead of Sterling which will become Lukaku.

I know it’s early but any thoughts on my team? I’m debating between:

    1. Davies & Brady to Richarlson & Cedric
    2. Davies to someone and roll over a sub
    3. Lukaku to Aguero
    4. A way to get Pool mid in

    Thoughts appreciated!

Have kane and aguero in your team would be very good. I personally am doing the same and waiting one more week on davis

      • Seals says:

Ideally I would like those 2 and Lukaku – but I can’t take our lacazette when they are home to Swansea next. Just so many moves I could do but don’t know what’s right.

        • jamesimmo says:

Seals, personally, the proposed Lukaku —–> Aguero move looks very tempting. Lukaku has a couple nasty fixtures coming up and, despite a goal per game or an occasional assist, hasn’t been scoring big lately. Kane and Aguero just seem far more dangerous.

Well, i forgot about the Friday night deadline. Did no transfers and my cappo was on Kane. Didn’t want him to do anything but now the games gone for us, go, go Harry. laugh

Want rid of Alonso, Davies, Naughton, Abraham, any thoughts on my draft wc team? Lukaku might become Aguero.
